I shopped around for my cash-out refinance at several places that ranged from small, local companies to the largest in the industry. Texas Lending had the same (or better) rates than everyone else but the fees were thousands less! I found my loan officer to be very responsive. My only frustration was with the new government regulations that increased the number of hoops that must be jumped through and the excessive waiting times to both close and fund the loan. It took a full two weeks to get the loan funded from the time my loan was cleared to close by the underwriter.

Great experience! Alex Munoz was extremely helpful and well organized with our information. He was always available to answer questions, especially during a time where my significant other and I needed extra clarity. We had a horrible experience with a previous lender, dropping us out of nowhere while in escrow.
