I had an auto loan through Greenwood Credit Union which I always paid more money each month on time making me 2 months ahead on the final months payoff. In November of 2012 I was laid off from work and put on unemployment so I called seeings as my loan was in great standings and 2 months ahead if I could defer my final payments. They refused me so unfortunately I wasnt able to pay my full payments over the next 2 months now. From numerous phone calls also calling my Mother having her worried I was going to lose my car they will finally be paid off this week still a month early. I do not recommend taking a loan from them they are unreasonable and quite ignorant. I have a car loan through Citizens Bank and they have been the total opposite. BEWARE OF GREENWOOD CREDIT UNION

absolutely awful experiences with my loan. The website lacks any information on my account besides my previous payments. There is no total of what I have paid or how much I still owe on the loan. When I call customer service it takes at least 15 minutes to get through to someone. We had a huge problem with them when it came to approving a check through insurance, to the point where it delayed receiving my car from the auto body shop. Choose a different credit union if you have the chance.

I have a lot of respect for this bank i had a shady car dealership get me a loan thru them. i noticed the dealership made the loan more then i agreed to and the loan dept helped me in big way with information. I got a new loan with great rate and payments thanks Greenwood

I use them for a car Loan. They make it extremely difficult to make payments online the system that they use is a mess. If they conduct regular transactions the same way then they use out of date technology.

Always pleasant and helpful. I had a car loan with them. The online system works well. I never had an issue. When I mailed my payments they were processed promptly.
