“Thermo Direct, a company with an established reputation you can trust” One of the hardest things to do in life is to find someone you can trust! This truth is magnified especially when dealing with any kind of service you need to contract out. Contractors promise you the world and then fall far short of their promises. Thermo Direct is the exception to the rule. I have lived in Raleigh since 1994 and have used several of the well-advertised heating and cooling service companies over the years. I have been disappointed in service and pricing, company after company. Thermo Direct is the answer to the dilemma, who is knowledgeable, does good work, has fare pricing and can be trusted time after time. I’ve been with Thermo Direct for about six years now. I have obtained second opinions on their evaluations to resolve both my upstairs and downstairs heating and cooling systems issues. They have always been on point and the best price, time after time. During the 4th of July week-end my downstairs system stopped working. I called them Sunday morning and they came that afternoon (on a holiday week-end) and resolved the issue. I was a hero to my wife, my two adult children and my four-year-old granddaughter. The true hero is Thermo Direct. They have earned my trust. Mario C.

I received 5 estimates from well rated companies on Yelp, Google, and Home Advisor for the replacement of my 31 year old gas furnace and 15 year old air conditioner. Both were still working, but I wanted a more efficient system. Having read online about the bad experiences some people have had in dealing with the personnel in the HVAC industry, I expected a hard sell and an unpleasant experience. Thermo Direct sent Derek, the Operations Manager, to my home for the estimate. His tremendous knowledge, personality, and communication skills made my decision to go with them easy. On top of that, the estimate Derek offered me was the most competitive. The installation of the Trane furnace and air conditioner was supervised by Ben. His easygoing demeanor and professionalism gave me a sense of trust. Any questions I asked about the operation of the system were answered thoroughly. I feel good about my decision. The new unit is cost efficient, more reliable, quieter, and safer. The whole experience was fantastic. I am grateful to Derek, Ben, Kelvin and the rest of the Thermo Direct team. I would recommend them to anyone!

Thermo Direct did an AWESOME job when we needed our HVAC unit and ductwork replaced. Eric, the project manager and our main contact, was friendly and extremely courteous and professional, always keeping us well informed of the status of our job and thoroughly explaining what the crew was going to do and how and when they plan to do it. There was an amazing level of communication. When the day of installation came, the crew worked with utmost professionalism, they worked diligently and knew exactly what needed to be done. Everyone always had an answer for my questions. Everyone was extremely courteous working around a sleeping baby in our house, and all went above and beyond to keep the level of disturbance to a minimum. Workmanship was absolutely incredible, and I am certain I got an amazing deal. I dealt with some other companies in the past with good experiences, but these guys far exceeded my expectations from price, to service and professionalism, and work quality...they are top notch. This company kicked ARS behind 100 times!!! The owner was extremely knowleadgeable and she was very trust worthy during our initial phone conversation. Made us feel comfortable and sent their sales rep Omar right away even after hours. Omar worked with us and we got an amazing unit for an amazing price. I am a former Marine and this company went above and beyond to take care of a Veteran an his family. The two technicians Jake and Byron were extremely professional, kept everything covered and clean and the installation done was a master piece. Extremely happy with the service and we highly recommend this company if you have any HVAC problems with your current unit.

Had an excellent experience using Thermo Direct to replace a blown compressor. Received a same day appointment, which was crucial since we had no AC in mid July! Derek was great - explaining the work that needed to be done and providing an estimate. We found the estimate to be very fair, and was less than we thought it would be after personally researching the cost of the compressor! We had a great experience with everyone we worked with at the company, including Brian and Ben, our service technicians. We were so pleased with their work that we signed up for their maintenance program. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing AC work done.

Very good work, good teamwork! Omar was great to work with understood our needs was not pushy trying to up sell additional products. We needed a loaner ac unit while we waited for ours to get installed their operations manager Derek came to my house at 7at night to set up the temporary ac! The team who installed my ac unit was exceptional, the day of the install a had to ad entire new ductwork to the job which added extra work the team stayed til 730 to complete job, while maintaining high quality if work, professional installation! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants exceptional customer service and quality work!

Prompt, good service. Friendly technicians. This is reliably the case. Most recently, this week, Gerald diagnosed burned out blower motor and/or capacitor (they are one integral unit and so generally are replaced at the same time). Gerald ordered both an integral unit and capacitor alone, bringing both to site. He disassembled the old unit and replaced the capacitor only without the blower, and jury rigged the wiring to test without reinstalling, determining that this would get the old motor operable. Saved me $400 in parts without any additional labor charge....

I used Thermo Direct to fix my HVAC unit that had stopped working. On a Sunday. Amazing work - very professional - very dynamic tech! I actually got the Operation Manager Derek who was nice enough to come out as his regular weekend techs were completely slammed. Something to note; Derek was very honest and forthright - his work ethic was exceptional. He was also very fast - knocked out the complete job in under 2 hours. the repairman told me i need a new unit because this unit to only last 10yrs . he said i can finance 7,ooo. he also clean it for 59.00 . he sprayed a chemical than rinse it.i told him i could have done that myself. i added an extra star because i had no problems since. the unit works fine now but i feel he tried to get more money from me. ladies beware update; my air condition is still working two years later

They went the extra mile to get my new furnace working on the same day it was installed, despite some wiring idiosyncrasies in my home. TIm did a great job! He explained how the filters accumulates dust and how it gets into the coils. He suggested that we use different filters to make the system last longer. Tim was very professional and knowledgeable. I really like receiving a notification of who will be coming and a picture of the service technician.

Our furnace stopped and the service man was prompt and efficient. Within an hour and half, the repair guy was out and had it up and running. Minor problem, but on a cold Sunday morning, we needed to have it fixed. It was only $10 more to have the problem fixed rather than waiting til Monday. Will use again.
