Case dismissed! Music to my ears… In 2014, I was arrested and charged for a crime that I did not commit. I consulted with the senior partner of a law firm and signed a contract, thinking that this attorney would represent me. Much to my chagrin, after submitting payment for services, they pulled a bait and switch on me and assigned two rookies with less than two years of experience to represent me. I knew after the first court appearance that this was not going to work, since the prosecutor was very aggressive. A colleague at work and another lawyer highly recommended Mr. McCoppin to me because of his background as a prosecutor and his expertise with difficult cases. I was convicted in district court, but we appealed. Mr. McCoppin worked with the new prosecutors and successfully got my case dismissed, without having to go to trial. My case was difficult because we couldn’t prove that the witness was not being truthful. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We are now working on getting my record expunged. I highly recommend this attorney. He knows what he is doing.

Outstanding experience with Mr. McCoppin. He is knowledgeable and caring. My son had received a subpoena as a witness and I was not sure of the process or if he would need an attorney. When I first called to inquire, I spoke with a very pleasant young lady who took my information. Mr. McCoppin returned my call before the end of the day and I was able to get a follow-up appointment immediately. At our appointment, he started out by honestly stating that we did not need an attorney. He then took the time to prepare my son for what to expect, answered all our questions, spoke to my son openly and honestly, man-to-man, regarding how he put himself in this situation and then helped us respond to an email. Then, he also hand-delivered it for us to the court house. After all of this, he did not charge us for his time and help. Truly outstanding.

When she missed the second court date, you still refused to negotiate and convinced the judge to mark the file LAST CONTINUANCE for the prosecutor.
