If you’re looking for a insurance job.. don’t bother applying here. This place is a joke. They give you a multiple choice test then a 240 question personality test. If you do not pass the first test they do not even consider giving you a interview. I do not understand why they base a interview off of a test. I’m sorry but this makes your company look bad. The inside of this facility is dumpy looking as well. Hope this company one day hires people with personality too.. because the lady I spoke with couldn’t seem anymore fake.

Truly a horrible company as a claim recipient. It took a month to get an approved doctor in which case my condition worsened to a point of irrevocable damage. The staff does not care about your needs and do not operate in a timely manner. Sometimes it can take days just to get your adjuster on the phone. Also my adjuster was changed 4 times in 3 months. Honestly I hope they get shut down, they made an already difficult situation astronomically worse.

We had to deal with a complicated claim last month that involved 4 of our staff in a really bad accident. It was stressful and the first time I had to work with an insurance company. I had no idea what to expect or even really what to do. I worked with Angela in their claims department and she answered at least a million questions for me. She was so patient. Someone at Applied Underwriters – please promote this girl! She was a total lifesaver.

Best thing about this company is there no audit workers comp. When we used another company, they messed up our payroll and we had an audit that was a total nightmare. It took so much time. I was never home, I was at work around the clock for nearly 2 months dealing with it. Applied combines their work comp with payroll and actually does it right so that this did not happen to our company again this year.

We use Applied Underwriters Equity Comp insurance. We’ve been in for nearly three years…and will actually get money back this year because we had no claims. They were one of the only companies that could cover our construction company. We do very specialized work on big sites and everyone else couldn’t help us.
