We bought a house in Bloomington in Oct 2011. The next summer we need to make a lot changes to the House. We had contacted many different contractors. My wife had called Ryan with Stinson Services. The one thing I really like about Ryan was he was honest and not pushy. I had told him we had a few contractors to talk to and it did not seem to bother. So after about week later we called Ryan back we had decided to to use him and his company. Ryan can back out and we went all details. We where going to replace all windows and all the siding. We had wanted to try a new product that was vinyl and looked like river rock. We wanted to put is at the bottom below the windows. The we would use Steel siding for the rest of the house. I have to tell you Ryan, Eric and there crew did a such a great job. I was so impressed that we decided to replace the driveway and garage. It all came out so good, It does not even look like the the place we had bought. I have so many complements for the neighbors. If you are planing and kind of work on your house or garage or anything else I would highly recommend Ryan and Stinson Services to anyone. Once again thank you for the great job you have done on my place..

I contacted Stinson Services along with several other contractors when I needed a roof replaced due to storm damage. Upon initially speaking them, I was impressed with their professionalism and helpfulness. After meeting them I was convinced that Stinson Services was the contractor I was going with. Being out of the metro area, Ryan devoted the better part of a day helping me work through the details of the project and work with my insurance adjuster to make sure my best interests were represented. Ryan walked me through the process to get the project going. The quality of the work was excellent, I never found a single nail or staple in my yard following the roofwork and the roof looks good and more importantly is sound. Communication during and after the project could have been slightly better, but I attribute this to it being in the heart of roofing seaon and it being difficult to allocate time. In the end it really did not affect the success of the project. All in all, I would highly recommend Stinson Services. Very trust-worthy, knowledgeble, and friendly.

I found Stinson Services by Googling "Insulation". They were endorsed by the BBB and had several good reviews. Mine will be another one. The people were quick to respond to my inquiry and all them were polite and professional. My roof was developing ice dams and I felt that improper ventilation of the attic space was to blame. They confirmed this assumption and showed me where the problems were. They suggested solutions including redistributing the existing insulation, adding some insulation, sealing any leaks from the ceiling and adding vents. The price was right and the work was done well. The workers took care to keep the house as clean as they could and worked swiftly and efficiently. They were friendly and willing to explain other things that I could do to improve my home. They even checked on some other work that I had done in the past. They made my project their first priority and made me want to be a "return customer". Thanks Stinson!

Ryan Stinson and his team are the GOLD standard when it comes to service, ethics and professionalism. From the very first meeting to the completion of the project Stinson and his team were first rate across the board. The process of working with insurance companies and banks was simplified beyond belief! The Stinson team walked us through each step meticulously and made certain we were comfortable along the way. The initial thought of going through this process was stressful. Those worries were eliminated once Ryan and his team of professionals took over. We were extremely satisfied with Ryan and his approach. He has a knowledgable team and is very sensitive to your concerns. Ryan and team got to us immediately after calling them for an inspection. He was able to work with the insurance adjuster to quickly spot issues with roof, siding and gutters. He also got us a second side of our house replaced because of minor damage that was facing the sun (sun fading) which if repaired would have looked discolored from the rest of the existing siding. The crews were timely and professional and cleaned up well after the fact. We appreciate their hard work in getting us fixed in little time. -Matt

Highly recommend. Tom P. was great throughout the sale process. He was knowledgeable, flexible and efficient. Where other companies used pressure sales techniques once they got face to face; Tom was the opposite. We spoke multiple times before signing the contract and he was always helpful. The installation team was solid as well. Respectful of our home and called with updates at the end of both days, and on project completion. Pricing was competitive and service was high quality.

When we bought our house a year ago, our inspector said that we needed more insulation in our attic spaces. I called SSI and Mark came out to give us an estimate. However, he found that we had much more insulation than our inspector told us and that it was in fact up to the current code. He suggested checking back in a few years to see if the code amount of insulation changes, but for now to save our money. We really appreciated his honesty. I would definitely recommend SSI.

I used Stinson Services to solve a home wide insulation issue in a 50 year old house. Base board heat and attic air conditioner ducts and whole home fan were a challenge to find a way to solve my heating bill problem. Bring on the cold now that I have new insulation in attic and insulation in new siding. The team was respectful in the remodeling process. The men that did the work were extremely polite and thorough. The Blown in insulation work to an older home looks great, meaning siding that was removed was not damaged when they took it off and put back on. Pieces that needed to be matched with the existing siding were matched up. Before starting the job they went over everything on the invoice that was going to be done.

1 - Did a great job when they replaced our windows and siding. They put down drop cloths when they went into each room and cleaned up the outside each day. siding is nice and level even with large windows between rows. 2 - Also did a great job re-insulating our attic. They added air chutes between the roof rafters. Really helped reduce our heating bill.
