We have worked with Joan since 2003. We have a number of policies with her. She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have worked with other Agents and have never had this level of support. I saw another comment about being handed off to junior associates, I personally don;t mind that for routine things since they have been helpful and efficient and I know she is in the background for more complicated issues or if I ever think I need or want to speak with her directly. I have to take notes when I am talking to her because she is seriously smart and talks fast :) We love working with her.

Joan is very rude. We had our auto and home insurance with her for over 18 months. During that time she handed us off to a couple of different Jr reps to service our acct. After 18 months, we decided cancel our policies with her due to lack of service. When we sent our cancellation notice to her, she immediately called us up. During this conversation she was very rude and snippy. I will not do business with her or recommend her services to anyone else. There are more personable insurance reps to do business with.

I have been with State Farm Insurance since 1975, and have been fortunate to have competent agents in NE, MO, and MN. Currently, I have virtually every insurance policy available--e.g., home, auto, life, umbrella-- with State Farm with Joan as my agent. Joan Roisum is an excellent agent and her staff is equally effective; I have always received optimal service and achieved desired results whenever I have called, or even unexpectedly dropped in at the office.

Beware that their "quotes" may be too good to be true. They lured me away from my old insurance with a great price than after almost 2 months said they made a mistake and then proceeded to take the difference from the prior too months even after I had already paid. Progressive was happy to take me back and get me at a low rate!
