When I first stumbled upon Michigan Auto Law, I was initially a little skeptical of the high reviews. I figured that based on the reviews it was at least worth a shot to get a free consultation. I had a fairly guarded mindset going into the call, but that changed as soon as I spoke to the first person from Michigan Auto Law. From the secretary who first greeted me, to the paralegal who took down my information, I was blown away at both how professional and genuine the staff at Michigan Auto Law (MAL) treated me at every step in the process. I was given a call back within a few hours by Brandon Hewitt, an attorney at MAL. Brandon patiently walked me through the dozens of questions that I had in my head. He was able to articulate exactly how to approach the situation and all of the possible outcomes that I should be expecting. Time and time again he answered one question after another with such patience and thoroughness that I left our one hour call with a renewed sense of confidence that we were going to do everything in our power to help improve the current situation. In addition to Brandon reaching out to me, one of the partners of the firm, Larry Gursten, personally reached out on multiple occasions to let me know that MAL was going to put the resources of their law firm behind me if I was to choose to go with them. Within minutes of that conversation, I felt very prepared to move forward with the decision on selecting MAL to represent me. If I was to impart with all the readers of this review with one takeaway about Michigan Auto Law, then it would be that they truly care about their clients. The insurance company actually offered a settlement and this actually eliminated the need to have legal representation for our case. Not only did Brandon offer to look over the final papers for us, but he did so with the best intentions. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if you should choose Michigan Auto Law as your law firm if you or a loved one has been in an automobile accident. Going through the accident process is a very tiring and time consuming process. The last thing you want to worry about is having to navigate through the workings of the legal system while caring for yourself or a loved one. If I haven’t made it painfully clear that Michigan Auto Law was the best decision I have made in terms of selecting a law firm, then I haven’t done the firm justice.

I did my research online and read a lot of good reviews for Michigan Auto Law that said this firm is good to work with and has great communication like answering questions and prompt responses to phone calls. So I called them up and talked to an attorney named Jordan. He was communicative like the reviews said and made me feel very comfortable in my choice to hire this firm. I needed a lawyer because a guy ran a red light and t-boned me in an intersection. I had three broken ribs and a 25% collapsed lung. I wanted to know if I had a case, which Jordan informed me that I did. Jordan gave me all of the information I needed to know as far as handling everything with my own insurance company. He guided me and made sure I was doing the things I needed to do. He also represented me in my pain and suffering case for my injuries. Again, the communication was key. Jordan was very easy going and easy to talk to throughout the process. He made everything throughout my lawsuit very easy and stress free. and was extremely informative about each step in my case. I would definitely recommend Michigan Auto Law. My case was settled with a great result and I was extremely happy with the way I was treated.

The ultimate lawyer – all around the way I was completely satisfied with the service I received with Michigan Auto Law after I was rear-ended in a car accident. My lawyer Ian Freed was really great to work with. When I was going through all the grief and pain, he was genuinely concerned – instead of brushing me off. No matter how many times I called during the day, he would pick up or return the call within seconds. And he just listened. I never went through any secretaries, always straight to him. Ian was a good lawyer. I liked the fact that he really cared about everything I was going through – he was dedicated. Most attorneys would get your case and say, I’ll talk with you 10 months from now. My other attorney Alison Tomak was wonderful as well. She is a very caring person - bright and always smiling. Her smile brightens up a room! Alison works hard for you. She is the ultimate lawyer all around the way. I was involved in a car accident on October 13, 2012. I have two herniated disks in my neck and I suffer from serious migraine headaches. I had to stop working and I needed to figure out how to be able to care for myself. I also felt someone needed to be held responsible for my injuries. Michigan Auto Law took my case. It helped a lot. I was very depressed after the accident. Even though I have family and friends, having the support from my lawyer Ian made me feel like I had other people in my corner as I was recovering. Ian is very real and straight to the point. He comforted me and was honest about all of the possibilities that could occur in my lawsuit. He spelled everything out for me, like how to process my feelings about the lawsuit all while trying to understand the law and difference stages of my case. Ian and his paralegal Laurie were always available for me whenever I needed anything. My life has changed a lot with this accident. The settlement Ian got me is like a second chance.

Steve Gursten is one of the most talented lawyers in the country. I have had the great opportunity to see Steve prepare for trial in a case involving a seriously injured man. Steve not only knows the law and facts of his cases, he learns everything about the medicine and injuries involved. Steve is also an extraordinarily talented trial lawyer. The lawyers at Michigan Auto Law have obtained fantastic results for their clients in wrongful death and serious injury cases. Steve is also a mentor and teacher to hundreds of lawyers throughout the country. Steve has given countless presentations to other attorneys to help them better represent their injured clients. Anyone who hires Steve and Michigan Auto Law to represent them will be in very good hands. I could not recommend them more highly.

I love my attorney Tom James! He is down to earth, and doesn’t use big lawyers words. He makes sure I understand everything and always reassured me everything was going on the right track. The settlement Tom got for me is enough to help me get my life back together. I was in a truck accident – a truck hit another vehicle that ran into my car. I had medical bills – and lots of them. I didn’t have health insurance, so I really needed help. Tom stuck up for me when my auto insurance company stopped paying for my medical care. He got my medical bills paid so I can continue recovering. I’m absolutely happy with Tom and all of the great people at Michigan Auto Law. I had a friend that had used Michigan Auto Law. He said he did a ton of research on who to go to and that Michigan Auto Law was the best. So I called them when my car was hit by a truck who fled after the accident. I liked my attorney Kevin Seiferheld a lot. He was friendly and always answered my questions. He knew what he was doing so I didn’t have to worry about what was going on. I didn’t want to go to trial and have my case drag on for another six months or a year, and I didn’t have to because Kevin fought hard to get me the settlement I deserved. I would recommend this law firm to anybody. Very proper. Very professional. Very good at what they do. Mr. Larry Gursten really put me at ease with this right from the get go. Meeting with him made me feel like everything was going to be alright and that was the end of it for me. He was very comforting. My lawyers Bob and Allison answered any questions I had whenever. They answered any phone calls. They are very confident about what they are doing. They handled everything properly, so I would definitely reccomend them to anybody. I had a complicated case against a city and my insurance company was dragging its heels. It wasn’t cut and dry. But Kevin stuck with it and got me through it. He fought for me to the best of his abilities to get me a settlement. Kevin was great. If I ever had a question, he answered, if I ever emailed him he would always answer. If he was on another case at the moment, he would always get back to me afterward. He had a caring attitude. If you have an auto case I would definitely call Kevin because he will always listen and he will tell you honestly if your case has a chance. He holds your your hand all the way through. Josh Terebelo at Michigan Auto Law made sure I received my lost wages when I was too injured to work Josh knew the answers to my questions and was on it before I could even ask him about my case. He had already done follow up for me so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He is very knowledgeable about the law and the statutory limits and what’s allowed and what’s not allowed under nofault. Not only did he get me my wages but he really cared about how I was doing. He is also completely responsive. If you need help for anything related to car accidents and serious injury, Michigan Auto Law is the way to go. Dave Christensen is the greatest lawyer inside and out. He was my biggest advocate both on the case and off the case. Dave helped guide me every step of the way, through important legal decisions, financial issues and insurance issues.
