I could not be more grateful for Wayne and Joel. I could go on all day about how lovely and charismatic they are as individuals, but I will try to limit my comments to the professional heavy lifting they did for me. I was facing some serious consequences. Due to their incredible attention to detail, they were able to eliminate one of my biggest hurdles—it was a huge victory. One of the consequences I would have surely faced was... “poof” like magic—gone! This enabled me to continue pursuing my own career goals that would have otherwise been stunted. (Not to mention they saved me a bunch of money and hassle!) Others have noted their deep-rooted relationships in Northern Chicago courthouses, and I think it works very much to the advantage of their clients. They connect with people—their personalities are charming and their intelligence is respected. As a result, the overall outcome for my case was as best it could possibly have been. The State was willing to work with them in a way that benefitted me immensely, and I think it has something to do with the way they present information and the strength of the relationships they have built. When I first walked through the doors of their office, I felt embarrassed, ashamed and, quite frankly, a bit hopeless. They helped to put things into perspective for me, and they encouraged me to see my future as bright despite my (very, very, very) stupid mistake. They went through the possibilities of what might happen, which gave me realistic expectations. They helped me break the thing up into pieces, so as not to get overwhelmed by the process. They fought for me like family, and, seriously, my gratitude knows no limits.
