My husband called Merdes Law office after we were in an accident that was not our fault. The other insurance company was trying to do a shared liability. He is a very knowledgeable attorney. We had a consultation with him and he offered us a lot of great advice and let us know he is just a phone call away if he can be of further assistance. This was free of charge!!! He is helping us to handle this ourselves as he believes we can do this without the help of an attorney. If we do end up needing an attorney we will be retaining him for sure. If you are ever in an accident even if it seems cut and dry I would call him immediately before having any conversation with any insurance companies. They may seem helpful at first but you find out quickly their job is to pay you as little as possible or nothing at all. They arent going to try to just take your money if they believe they can help you to do it on your own. They are a true asset to the community.

Just as many others have mentioned and talked about how great Mr. Merdes is, I can assure you that I had a one of the best experiences with any lawyer, with just a phone call. I also am an individual where insurance was stalling on me, and not wanting to pay, while I have paid years of full coverage. He explained and provided valuable information to aid in my defense and help me navigate how to approach the insurance companies. I have spent several thousands on lawyers who have done less, this kind gentlemen never mentioned money or consultation fees. He kindly just wanted to help me, and assure I was aware of my rights as an individual. I came to Ward after I was hit by a drunk driver. From the beginning Ward was so friendly and answered all my questions (I had a ton). He always had time for me even though I always called. I was probably really annoying because I was put on a lot of pain pills but he helped with everything. He even offered to let me stay in his guest bedroom if I had to fly back up to Alaska for a trial (I moved back to lower 48 after the Army) but the case never even went to trial, he just sent me a check. Really cool guy who is not only easy to talk to but will help you though a serious injury like mine.

Ward was extremely helpful over the phone in advising me on what to expect from insurance companies who use delaying tactics in paying out claims. If you have a serious car accident, I recommend you give him a call. His advice is free, but be prepared to "listen fast" when he returns your call. He is the real deal, and easy to talk to. No pressure.

Mr. Merdes was awesome, he was very direct and extremely helpful about getting the information that both my Grandma and I needed. He was able to speak in "lame-man terms" so that we could understand, but was still very professional. I would personally recommend him to anyone who was in need.
