I was fed up with my old Credit Union and someone suggested Mountain America. I went to the meridian branch with the intention of only getting some information about their accounts. The whole staff was so friendly and cheerful, but not in a fake way like a lot of other banks. Katie took the time to get to know me and how I use my current accounts, so that she could get me into the right kind of checking and savings to best fit my needs. Needless to say, I opened my accounts right then. I like that if I have any questions or anything, that I can call or stop in and they know me by name. I can tell that the staff (Katie was my banker) genuinely cares about their clientele and works hard to get things done for us. I am going to be in the market for a new car this spring and I am DEFINITELY going thru Mtn. America for my loan!

First off, if I could give this bank a -5 stars I would. I believe that the best customer service comes from companies who invest time and genuine effort into their customers needs. Katie (loan department) gave my husband and I an absolute pitiful experience because she was lazy, rude, and clearly incompetent of her job duties. It took her three days to give us a answer on our issue. We called every day in those three days and were told she was busy and would call us back which never did once. Constant run around and very misleading. We then talked to Dustin and he was even worse than Katie. Long story short, we will never return to this crappy, hole in the wall bank. I recommend dealing with a more reputable bank.

I have been with MACU for many years now. I was surprised when my banker was able to transfer all of my loans from my previous bank to MACU consolidating them and making life so much easier for me. Now my Meridian Idaho branch has been here for me providing excellent service in many of my difficult needs over the last year. They have been patient, and very competent. Recently my transaction was so convenient and questions answered, I was in and out very quickly. Thank you Meridian Branch!

Knowing my information gave me the run around. Katie and Dustin in Meridian offer HORRIBLE customer service. Made up things that i had said. I had to call them back and when i did call they said "OH i was about to call you"..... TERRIBLE SERVICE ... CUSTOMER BEWARE of shady workers..
