I am a AAA member. I never visited this branch, but I had requested a quote for auto insurance at one point. The quote came in significantly higher than what I was paying so I chose not to go any further with it. This location decided the best way to handle that was to call me several times mail me over 15 letters, and email me 8 separate times asking for a review. So here is that review. I have been a very happy AAA member for several years. I have no intention of terminating my auto club membership anytime soon. That being said... Thanks to the experience/harassment I have now had with Port Richey AAA, I will not be considering them for any other services. I will keep my interactions to online only with them. Something as simple as requesting a quote for auto insurance should not result in 3 months of communication barrage. Especially when the quote is not even remotely competitive. Then on top of it to harass a customer for a review online, when no direct interaction ever took place is just crazy. My advice, stay away.

I dealt with AAA agent Amber Garcia, she was very professional and yet friendly enough to make me feel like a friend of AAA. She was quoting automobile insurance & going up against my company of 10 years, so last year she was not able to save me any money on the premium. She was tenacious enough to follow up this year with a reminder card with a personal, hand written note asking that she be allowed to compete again this year and attempt to save me some money. I am pleased to say that she worked hard and did find a very well respected company that matched "apples to apples" with my previous company and saved me over $400 on my annual premium. Had she not sent me the courteous reminder and been so professional in handling this awkward event, I would still be with my old company and with $400 less in my bank account. Thank you Amber Garcia for all that you did for me & thank you AAA for having Amber on your staff, she is a true asset!

Amber is extremely knowledgable and takes time to explain each coverage and the options available for each policy. I received an email recently that asked about my experience with the Port Richey AAA. To be completely honest, the rep I spoke to on the phone was very polite and courteous. She was supposed to call me back the next day with the information I asked for about an upcoming trip. I had asked for Disney tickets and hotels to stay in that area. She never called back. Maybe I fell through the cracks?...End of Story.

Carol Birdyshaw has been our travel agent for 14 years. She is not only extremely helpful, but she is incredibly knowledgeable! When you call her or send her an e-mail, she gets the answers to your questions right away. We travel on the Disney Ships yearly, and even though we book our future cruises while we are onboard, we have them add Carol as our agent because "stuff happens" and she is amazing!
