I hired Thomas Hogan to represent me in a simple child support modification. I was traveling from a long distance away and did not know anyone in the area or anything about this law firm. I called his office and had a long, and at times rambling, conversation with Mr. Hogan regarding my case and I decided to ask him to represent me. BIG MISTAKE! Yesterday I arrived at his office after a very long drive to discuss diferent numbers and situations in which we might proceed in the case.... I showed him all of my paperwork including THE NAME OF THE OTHER PARTY IN THE CASE. He said he might be a few moments late to the hearing but not to worry....hmmm okay. This morning we arrived at the courthouse and proceeded to wait almost 2 hours for him to arrive: (, then after making a stressful situation much more stressful he comes in and the other party yells in the court "he cannot represent you he is representing me in another case!" I guess she has multiple cases pending in the court system, WHAT A WINNER SHE IS!? Then Mr. Hogan calls me into the hallway and says ohhh well I guess I cannot represent you because it is a conflcit of interest, oh but not to worry I will give you a refund. OOOOhhh great so I am left to deal with this by myself at the last second. What a complete Douchbag! Then I go back to the office to collect my refund after being railroaded at the courthouse and some Douchbag in training continues with the rambling annoying comments regarding me personaly and my case...WHAT A DICK! My message to you, the reader, is to find another law firm. It should be easy. goodluck. P.S. Even though I have given a one star rating it really means negative one because I had to put some sort of rating for this to be published.

Mr. Hogan has helped me through some huge issues on non-profit law and employment law. He immediately made phone calls to get information from the people involved and advised me on how to proceed from that step on. He knows what he is talking about and did his research on the parties involved. He is very thorough, and forceful when required. He listened to my concerns and acted within those parameters. He was kind and yet to the point and efficient! He treated me with respect, even though I had no clue as to how to proceed. I am thankful for the recommendation that I see him in the beginning. I would give that same recommendation to any friend that might need legal services! He gets the job done!

I dealt with this law firm for over a year trying to get a tax debt settled. they first charged me a great deal of money to work with IRS, then decided a bankruptcy would work well, then charged me again to make payment plan with IRS and state. They told me to go ahead and pay state while waiting on IRS, which took over a year, during which I had little communication with them, and then they started charging me more fees, for calling in and finding out what was going on! Best bet move on to another attorney this one will not provide you with real customer service. I do not doubt that some how this review will disappear.

Disgusted! Money hungry attorney! Do your homework, and read all reviees in YELP. Thomas Hogan makes empty promises he cannot deliver on. He failed to show up to court, failed to deliver IMPORTANT documents, failed to return IMPORTANT phone calls when our children were AT- RISK. He stated he could handle the case for $3500 and after paying him $5000, he wanted $1500 more, and that wasnt going to cover everything...this was just for a simple custody/divorce. PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! FIND AN ATTORNEY INVESTED IN YOU, NOT THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR.
