About a year ago we had a technician come out because our AC was leaking free-on and freezing up. The technician was very friendly but, not very knowledgeable. He told us there was a leak in our system but he was unable to find it. So, we paid for four pound of free-on which today we found out leaked out once again! The technician that came out this time was very friendly and honest with us and told us we had two leaks and exactly where they were. We got quite frustrated because this problem should have been fixed the FIRST time they came out to service our AC. When we contacted the office about this problem they told us our only option was to pay the $80 service fee and have the technician remove the three pounds of free-on he had just put in our AC unit. All together to completely repair our AC it would be $1900. After my fiance asked to speak to a manager the woman in the office stated the manager was busy but she would have a Field Supervisor call him back in just a few minutes. When the supervisor called back he gave my fiance the run around stating that it was not their fault nor their responsibility to fix this problem. He stated he would call the technician and call my fiance back with a decision of what they could do to try to resolve the issue. The Field Supervisor never called my fiance back, and told his technician that he had. When the technician spoke to my fiance he stated that he was told they would take $100 off the repair of the two leaks IF we decided to go with them for the repair. We ended up having to pay $300 dollars for free-on that will more than likely leak out. My suggestion is that if you want the job done correctly the first time DO NOT go with Mid Fla Heating & Air.

We had used Mid-FL to service our existing A/C unit for a number of years. I liked the fact that the same technician was always sent out to our property; he got to know us, and our A/C unit. When it was time to replace our A/C unit, Mid-FL submitted a proposal that was reasonably priced and in keeping with others we had received, When we gave them the go-a-head, the new unit was installed the very next day. These guys are the best. Quick and friendly service. When my 15 year old system failed this year, they had it running--the same day!--better than it did when we first built our home. These guys are a vital facet of our community! Way to go Mid-Fla!
