I first went to Loan Lawyers in April of 2014 when my mortgage company started the foreclosure process on my business. Loan Lawyers quickly made contact with my mortgage company. Two months later, I received a call from the attorney, telling me that an agreement was reached with the mortgage company and that I should come into the office to sign the documents. I had to ask her to repeat what was said because I could not believe what I was hearing; only two (2) months. Unfortunately for me, business went South and I was not able to make the 4th payment. The mortgage company immediately went to court to ask for a sale order from the judge. Loan Lawyers was one (1) step ahead and filed for bankruptcy. We did not make it to court because Loan Lawyers was aggressively on top of my case and received an offer of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00) reduction on my monthly payments. In this day and age when so many American institutions have been overrun by greed and the accumulation of wealth has become a perverted form of worship, it is refreshing and indeed a godsend to have found compassion and true empathy from perhaps the most unlikely of places, a Law firm. The team at Loan Lawyers have come to our rescue and have halted the relentless onslaught by our crooked mortgage servicer to push us out of our home of 26 years. I therefore encourage anyone having problems with a mortgage lender to. Call Loan Lawyers (IT COST NOTHING to call them) and it could, like in my case halt the attacks even if you are not in foreclosure like ourselves. I have to say they go above and beyond when it comes to attorneys,If anyone could save your Home they can.. When I went to them I said i wanted to fight not rest on there Laurels at that time there response was not us we will get the job done, I have AIDS and Cancer and my Mortgage company was harassing me to no end, I kept submitting paperwork for Modification and the mortgage and they say they never received it then they sold my note like 5 times, And loan lawyers also fount that they had broke The Truth and lending act and we Filed a federal lawsuit for that as well and Won... I have been asked to write a review for Loan Lawyers / Matthew Bavaro; Laura Hoy; Sonja Cajuste and their support staff. I represented myself pro se for approximately 3 years, however, I reach the point of understanding that I was in over my head. After, reviewing and meeting with 4 separate law firms, I decided to hire Matthew Bavaro. The result, if it weren’t for his leadership, always returning my (many) phone calls, and never ever refusing a request to meet, my wife and myself would be living in an apartment costing approximately $1,500 per month rather then still living in our home of 10 years with a loan modification of $1,050.00 per month. Very knowledgably bankruptcy and modification attorney who goes above and beyond to service your needs. They were able to stop the sale of my home and modify the loan after 7yrs of non-payment. Don’t waste your TIME or Money going anywhere else! Staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable as well so you won’t deal with a lot of “umm’s” or “I don’t know”. These people are amazingly patient they walk you through the process and explain everything in detail. They work with you in regard to their retainer fee. This is absolutely the best place hands down for all your legal needs or worries.
