Planet Home Lending is the epitome of greedy corporate lending scum that crippled this country. For 18 months, I was trying to settle my debt on our second mortgage after job loss. For more than 1 year, was instructed no need to make a payment during modifications. Now, Planet Home lending acquired our debt, sent an instant demand letter, and have only one plan* To instantly foreclose* They sent a demand letter of all owed monies, despite my being instructed otherwise. They were not willing to settle for far more than they paid, nor accept payments for the time they had owned the loan. They would not even give us 1 WEEK to catch up the payments for the time they owned the loan. They had one goal from the beginning – To foreclose ASAP and maximize their investment. I understand it’s my job to keep the payments up, but after 10 years, the house is still under water and we navigated significant life changes and job loss. The reality is we were within 30 days of being on our feet with as my wife and I both have new jobs, and the scum that it’s Planet Home Lending, are pushing a family of 6 onto the streets who can now afford the payment, only so they can make a profit instantly. My guess is there’s a 100% chance they paid less than 10k for our debt. And their plan to make the highest possible return, is to foreclose, force a sale, and reap the huge and timely ROI. This is the corporate lender greed that corrupted our economy. May GOD help us all!

These idiots bought my loan right. They badgered me to refinance over and over and over. So I finally gave in. I had been with them for close to three years. When they did a credit check on me for refinance, it showed I had a foreclosure. I told them ‘No” I never had a foreclosure. I did have a short sale. They asked me to show them the paper work on the short sale. So I did. I showed them all the paper trail, all the files, the agreement from Chase Bank (another corrupted bank), the HUD 1 , the escrow closing agreement, the Chase Bank paper work APPROVING the short sale, the escrow sheet where it shows me as the seller and shows a buyer and it show Chase Bank funded from the account. It was a short sell. Its says on the closing escrow statement "Short Sale". The realtor even was willing to show all paper work. The refinance officer from Planet Lending said "yep", you have the evidence, but since it shows as a foreclosure on your credit report. We can’t refinance you. Are you F&@*K ing kidding me. I’ve been with you since 2013, the short sale was in 2012. I showed you all the evidence. Someone submitted it as a foreclosure , perhaps a error? They still said no. Then I said then why did you buy my loan in 2013.. The refinance guy could tell me why!? These guys are a joke and a bunch of idiots. Don’t refinance with them. Run as far as u can. Warning Warning Warning, don’t use these guys, they are a big rip off, their customer service is the worst!!!

My husband and I needed to refinance our home and had looked at several companies to work with. We finally decided on Planet Home Lending after our first experience with Nicholas Framarini. He understood that we were very nervous about engaging in the decision to refinance and was there for us every single step of the way. We both work full time and Nick made sure that we were able to complete all of the necessary steps online and by phone. He walked us through the process and checked in with us after every step was completed to see if we had any questions. Nick even checked back after our first payment to make sure we were still comfortable. We are older and so the online process was more difficult. It was so refreshing to be able to talk directly to Nick about our loan whenever we needed him. He returned calls immediately, scheduled the closing in our home during the evening when it was convenient for us and consistently made sure that we understood every detail and aspect of our loan and the process. Nick is very professional yet personable and as a nurse I need to say his customer service skills were excellent! I will be sending my friends and family to Nick Framarini and sincerely recommend Planet Home Lending to anyone interested in a home loan. THANK YOU NICK !!!

We had an issue with our homeowners insurance, just a big miscommunication, i would like to say on behalf of the company we have the insurance with. I spent nearly two months trying to resolve this issue calling planet home lending, i was transferred to so many departments and talked to different agents, Until i came across Customer Service rep. NADINE, she was patient and proficient with her job, she helped me and my family so much on this issue that i thought would never get resolved. we spent nearly a whole month, she explained everything in such a great way and helped me understand everything. She is truly great at what she does, answering questions, she was available for any concern i had, and was the first rep to ever call me back, truly trustworthy! I am 100% happy with planet home lending and 1000% happy with the attention and work that Customer Service Rep NADINE put in to help me. I CANNOT THANK HER ENOUGH :) May i add that Mr.Augustin is great as well, he was another rep to help me with this issue as well! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND NADINE AND AUGUSTIN!!!!!!

I tried buying a house that was listed by Planet Home Lending LLC and during the closing they flooded the house by turning on the utilities and refused to fix the mess or claim it under insurance, the house began to grow black mold, they also took appliances out of the home against what the contract said and refused to replace them. There was also a big section of shingles on the roof that had gotten blown off during a wind storm during the closing and they also refused to fix that. We turned around and walked away, too many problems and they were not willing to fix what they legally should have. Our real estate agent tried siding with the seller and told us that the seller of the home was the U.S. Government and we could not take them to court over the breach of contract. Trying to basically intimidate me into signing anyway. This company is LOW LIFE!

Customer service: Terrible Worst experience I have ever had. I had called on behalf of the title company I work for, to obtain a payoff quote for a client of Planet Home Lending and of ours. I faxed and emailed a completed and signed authorization to receive the quote needed. I then follow up with a phone call to expedite the request, since it had been days since we received confirmation of the received fax and email request. They were the rudest employees I have ever had to waste my time on. Francisco, one of the three representatives I spoke too, hung up on me TWICE, and lied to me repeatedly. In this industry it was shocking to have to deal with such ignorance and laziness. It is mind boggling that they are in business still. Please BEWARE.

Horrible customer service. Like others, I wish negative star option was available. From the very first phone conversation the person handling my refinance was unprofessional and even rude. The few conversations i had with them, every one ended with them hanging up on me. My mortgage was transferred to them by my original lender unbeknownst to me with nothing but a 15 day notice by mail. I was undecided on refinancing, but now i will most definitely refinance through my Bank this week to avoid the hassle of dealing with these scrubs for the time i maintain my current mortgage. If you are reading this i strongly encourage you to keep shopping.

Planet Home Lending is by far the worst mortgage company I have ever had to work with. Flagstar bank sold many of their mortgages to this new company in CT. The Planet Home Lending website does not work at all. Attempting to make a simple payment online is not possible. The customer service is horrendous and trying to get through to any representative via telephone is a giant feat. Do not do any business with this company if you do not have to. If you are a customer that is a victim of circumstance due to your prior lender, I feel your pain.

Horrible customer service. We have been waiting on a payoff to be faxed to the title company for one week now and still cannot get a straight answer on why there is a delay. We are told that there is no one to speak to in the payoff department and that customer service can only send an email and wait for a response. Every day we delay the closing of our house, the more money we pay and the more likely that the sale will not actually occur. Ridiculous.

Excellent service! Everything was handled by our Loan Officer, David Brink. He was extremely professional and thought of every detail. He explained everything very well and answered all of our questions. The process was virtually painless, and we were approved for our loan MUCH quicker and with less effort than we ever thought it would take. I despise this mortgage company. I have requested not once but several times for a manager to return my call. Their customer is the worst. I have had agents give me an attitude and hang up. Also I dislike when i speak to an agent and then another agent gives me 2 different answers. First opportunity I have I WILL refinance elsewhere. Sadly my loan was sold to them in the first place. Ugh

Worst customer service I have ever seen from a loan servicing company. Unable to process simple payoff balance request for me. No answers, always going back to their canned response " I will forward your request to our payoff department". No response from the "payoff department for 3 business days so far. Why would anyone do business with such a company as this??

We recently did our 2nd refinance with Planet Home Lending. Our most recent loan originator was Gary Opalewski who was great to work with. So if we had questions or there were delays we always went to Gary to get the difficulty straightened - no problem! He was an absolute gem.
