THE BEST.....I have bought two homes and had one refinance through Lana and Uptown Mortgage, and they are by far the best in town. Lana is a seasoned professional, knows the housing and mortgage markets extensively, and she can give you the best advice on what works for you, and give you options you may not have considered. For our refinance last month, we shopped around a few brokers first, then came back to Uptown to see what they could do. Lana ran our numbers, and the next day she had multiple options on the table for us, all at better rates & payment schedules than 3 other brokers! Closing costs, monthly payments and rates were exactly what was quoted, and we were amazed at how easy the whole process was for us. We even got follow up phone calls during the process from Uptown’s staff, and they arranged for the mortgage loan officer to come to our HOME to sign all the closing documents. At the start of the process, Lana even gave us great advice on how far to pay down our debt & credit cards, and told us exactly where we needed to be financially to make our loan desires a reality. Thank you for the extra guidance and knowledge Lana! You rock! Fantastic service, fantastic person, fantastic business…6 stars!

I shopped around for mortgages before purchasing my home and found that not only did Uptown Mortgage have the lower rates, Lana Jern was completely Transparent with me through the entire process. She redlined commented on each of my estimates letting me know what each of the numbers meant and pointed out where Uptown Mortgage was higher or lower. Lana also got the job done quick, painless, and was available at all times to answer any questions I may have had. It was a pleasure to finally get some face time with Lana when she came to my closing and assured me that she would be available if I ever have questions or concerns in the future. My boyfriend went through the loan process concurrently with me and we had totally different experiences. Uptown Mortgage made sure that the process went smoothly and that I was stress free. And she really delivered for me and helped me out! They were responsive, helpful, respectful, and delivered on their promises to me, despite my complex situation. Jason Kauffman worked with me for the better part of 2 yrs while I was searching for the perfect house in Denver - every time I was interested in a property, all I had to do was email him the address and he was able to send over an estimate of the possible loan. Ultimately, the house I bought was a quick 72 hr-turn-around from the time the house was listed until my offer was accepted. There was never a delay or worry about getting the needed documentation to my realtor in a timely manner. I am a first time home-buyer and went with Jason via Yelp reviews. I was NOT disappointed.

BAD BAD Service... I just talked to Lana and she is horrible. Basically I just got the impression she is too busy to help. I have had a couple credit mishaps in the past but nothing too crazy. She talked to me for maybe five minutes, told me I was declined, and told me to pay down all of my credit cards and call her in 6 months. Well the cards are payed down and I am already approved elsewhere. Thanks Lana..... You suck!

Can somebody file a complaint to get this company shut down for taking applications, not following through, and then their employees fraudulently using social security numbers to go to the hospital.
