6/14/2017 I called this firm based on Yelp reviews for a free consultation regarding a lawsuit from a former Tenant that lived in an in-law unit in my house. I made an appt, and Steven MacDonald immediately responded and set me up with Danny Wang. Deadlines for filing response papers were coming up, and I was stressed. Danny met me at the free 30 min consultation and went over his free time by 40 min. He explained everything extremely well, and what I most appreciated was that he was realistic and reality-based-no sugar coating of problem areas. Danny told me I really need to contact my insurance company immediately to see if they can cover the legal costs. I never paid their retainer nor signed a contract, but Danny was well aware of the impending deadlines and did some preliminary legwork in preparation anyway. Once I found out from the insurance carrier that they would do the legal work, I notified Danny and we amicably parted ways. 3 weeks later I received an invoice for $500 for services rendered. I responded by saying that I never paid the retainer, and was under the impression that no work would be done until a contract was signed and retainer paid. Although Danny had spent extra time, he graciously waved this invoice, and wished me luck on the case. Very professionally handled. Highly recommend! Would definitely go back when and if needed!

What is not described is the professional, driven, talent that provides confidence, and courage to seek the proper resolution when parties disagree on a win-win outcome. If you want the best, get the one who won the case, and wrote the book for others to learn from. Nothing is too complicated for Steve.
