What has happened to the DHS Post Office? It seems that since the Baby Boomer Generation has retired and the Millennials (Generation X & Y) has taken over, service has gone down the tubes and prices up. I live in Mission Lakes Country Club, located in Desert Hot Springs, where your Post Office provides me service. Since Terry retired, my mail has not been delivered at least three times, delivered to the wrong address, or delivered after 9 p.m. I even received a hand-written note in my mailbox stating that why they could not deliver was because there was an auto parked in front of my mailbox. For your knowledge, there was no auto parked in front of my mailbox on the date that I received the idiotic note. This is one main reason that most of us are going paperless and paying our bills on-line. It seems that your new generation of employees seem not to be compassionate or caring about their jobs. The best of luck in improving the professionalism in your employees ( the "Give-Me" and "You Owe Me" Generation. Just to let you, yesterday , 11/17 was another day with no mail delivery. This has also occurred several other times. ALSO!, When or if my mail is delivered, it is usually between 8-9 p.m. That is ridiculous! I thought that the Post Officd closed at 5 p.m. Maybe I should pull out of retirement and do their job for them.

On Monday, July 24, 2017, at approximately 0925 hours a.m., I had to demand that they give me my signature document that was connected to a tracking receipt. I had to keep the Supervisor from closing her little door on me because she tried to keep my tracking receipt. When I snatched my docs from her hand, she threatened to call the cops and probably did because she followed me outside, so I filed a complaint on her. Case #find out for yourself. Everyone is right about this place treating citizens like dog dirt, and that is going to change for the better very, very soon.

I did not receive my package and it was IMPOSSIBLE to reach a real person to complain or ask about it (they claimed it was put into my mail box but I never received it). Wait times on the phone to inquire about it (once I reached a place to speak to a real person and not a computer) were over twenty minutes!! I am thoroughly disgusted with the bad service, and I really miss my merchandise.

Just got notification that my package was delivered to mailbox. . Went outside to get it.. nothing in the mailbox. Why is my package not in there? Did your employee steal it? Was it delivered to another person? I never have an issue with my packages.. but I have not received two packages so far.. not happy. Will be looking into further. . Will be reviewing my neighbors camaras..

There is some blonde goofy guy there who managed to loose break or just not ship items we dropped off the items came back destroyed. this post office needs to be shut down or fire existing employees very bad experience 9 times i asked for postal tracking proof for ebay nine time that blonde guy gave me a insurance number not the tracking REALLY UR Post office sucks bad...

This place is an absolute mess. It is run by people who dont care ! They have no regards for customer service and worse take no responsibility when they make mistakes. Worse of all is that they are incompetent with the responsibility they have been given. Consistently mail is misplaced and packages are lost. There is a guy named Jay...Incredibly rude and ignorant

411... be aware postal service carriers in Desert Hot Springs Ca are stealing packages. So if you do not receive your items you should point the finger at them. P.S they will come up with every excuse in the book to get away with it.
