My family and I moved to Sierra Vista for Military purposes and was excited when we got into our new house, managed by Long Realty, and when we moved in the house it was not clean but other than that everything went pretty smooth until we were transferred to GA and had to cancel the lease. Long Realty gave us such a hard time with the move out process. We paid for a carpet cleaning and pest service and we cleaned the house till it was spotless, including getting down on our hands and knees to clean the baseboards, and they charged a $350 cleaning service charge out of our deposit. When we moved in we had to buy light bulbs because several were out and when we left they charged us a fee for one of the living room light bulbs being out, which of course included a hefty service charge. They were not flexible with the move out walk through AT ALL and we ended up having to leave before they could do one with us. If you are stuck renting through them DO NOT leave without doing a walk through with them. They really screwed us over and took most of our deposit. I feel like because we are military they took advantage of us. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Worst rental experience. When I moved out they came and did an inspection on the house. Very rude. My rent was paid until the end of the month and they acted like I had already moved out. Told me they would be bringing people in when I was not home to look at the house. I told them I have a dog and that was not possible, that they had to give me notice before they showed the home. When they came to the house proceeded to walk through without my permission. Did not act in a professional manner. When I moved out the company kept most of my deposit because they said the window sills and oven were not clean. They were cleaner when I moved out than when I moved in. I was told when I moved in that I would not have to clean these items because they were not done when I moved in. In the interim the company changed hands and the new owners did not honor this agreement.

Several years ago, we purchased a home through Long and were VERY impressed with our realtor Dan Riordan. He was professional, kind, and listened to what we were looking for in a home. After we closed on our house, he brought us beautiful potted plants for the back patio. When it came time to move, we chose Long Realty again. This time Barbara Pursell was our realtor. She gave us top notch customer service. Her knowledge of the area and real estate market helped us sell our home much quicker than the average sell time. We were very pleased with her customer service.

Katherine Zellerbach listed and helped my parents sell their home in Aug. 2016. She did a wonderful job for them. They felt she helped them to get the best possible price for their home. She was always on top of things and making sure things got done. She kept them informed during every step of the process and whenever they called and left a message she returned phone calls quickly. She is very easy going and friendly. My parents found her a pleasure to work with and a really nice person.
