Just like the others who have posted a review about this company if I could give negative stars I most certainly would. I have been a policy holder for 7 years and have not had to deal with this company directly because I had an agent write the policy, it automatically renews every year and I have never made a claim. Today is the first time I have ever contacted American Reliable directly and it was an absolute awful experience. I hung up the phone in tears and I am not a super sensitive person. I have never in my life dealt with such rude individuals, these people are absolutely disgusting. I spoke to Naomi Lomeli and her supervisor Steve Riley and both were completely rude and insulting. No one deserves to be treated the way these individuals treated me and they certainly do not deserve to have jobs, not when there are plenty of people in this world needing work that would treat customers with respect. I will be canceling my policy with this company asap and I have filed a formal complaint for both individuals with their HR department.

I am still fighting with them!! After numerous phone calls and still no call back and also being hung up on more than once I am done!! My husband passed away a year ago and we were both on our home loan which is wrapped with our home owners insurance. For some reason my name was not put on the insurance policy. My roof is leaking and mold. They issued me a check and because I do not have an estate account I cannot cash this worthless check to get the work done. I have left my bank crying and yelled at the companies customer service. If this ever gets resolved I am ending this policy and dropping them like they should be by everyone!! Horrible company and customer service!!! Save yourself the trouble and skim past their name.

I would like to know, why one of my checks were lost and never accounted for ! Policy was cancelled for lack of payment. Had to send in a carbon backed check for proof of payment, had to cancel that check at the bank and rewrote a new check. Looks ! like the same thing is happening again this month ??????? Where ? are the checks going..... Snail pace... LJ

NO STARS. WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER. CLAIM WAS OPENED IN 09/2015 - STILL IS NOT CLOSED. THEY DID NOT PAY THE FULL AMOUNT DUE FOR THE CLAIM- OVER LOOKED ADD-ONS THAT WERE PAID FOR. THEY LIE AND CALL THE WRONG NUMBER ASKING FOR PEOPLE KNOWING GOOD AND WELL THATS NOT THEIR NUMBER AND GIVE PEOPLE THE RUN AROUND. DO NOT TAKE OUT THEIR INSURANCE!!!

What a joke of a company..What a big scam. 7 months and still my claim.has not been paid. Adjuster Sara L John is extremely rude as well and should not be working there. Had to file a complaint with the department of insurance as well as the BBB and the local TV station. Next off to an attorney . Run as far as you can from these people!!

I would not suggest getting Insurance with these people if you own your own Home! if bank owned, they have to be fair. but if not, they will take advantage of you! they WILL weasel out of ANY claim they possibly can! wish I would have read the reviews before giving them one dime of my money 9 years ago till today!
