This bank is terrible. They do not lower your interest rates on credit cards while deployed like USAA does. Your debit card will be blocked and will decline if you are one day late on your credit card payments. They insist they are paid first and hold your money hostage. There is no warning the debit card is inactive, you find out when you try to use it. We pulled all of our money out here and then I realized our electric bill was going to debit out on May 1. I drove the 30 minutes to the bank on April 30 and put the cash in the bank to cover the bill, while there I paid both of my credit card payments separately. They declined my electric bill and drafted the money out of my account WITH OUT MY CONSENT and put it on one of my credit cards that was not due until May 1st and after I already paid it ( I do not have automatic payments). My husband and I are transferring our credit cards to USAA. After all this, the thing that bothered me the most is how they are a "military" bank but yet do nothing while deployed. What a shame.

I was a member of NFCU for many years. I ran into financial trouble as I had lost my job and had a tough time paying off my credit card. I tried to work with them and tried to start paying off my CC. They were abusive and down right mean to me on the phone one time when I was asking for my percentage rate to come down to a manageable level. The agent treated me terrible. I left NFCU soon after. As it got bigger they seemed more to care more about making money and NOT their members as their adds suggest.

I have been with NFCU for over 18 years and not once have they let me down. Excellent credit card ratings and quick and timely loan service. I used to bank with USAA but there was really nothing NFCU could not do that USAA provides. Convienient ATM locations throughout the country and excellent web page access and security. Those that gave poor ratings should look at themselves closer and make payments on time and not float checks. Any other institution would have done the same.

I have been with Navy Fed for about 3 years now and have never experienced any of the issues I have read about on Google reviews. They are always very helpful and knowledgeable. I have had a boat loan a personal loan and a travel trailer loan with them and it was always very quick and simple. Thanks Navy Fed keep up the good work!

The remark about wanting NFCU,better if you have more money in the account.But when you run out of money and once if you missed payment on credit card.you will not be able to enter your account,and you need to call them to return normal transaction.

I go to the bank with this "attitude" and the desire to kill something. I walk out 20 minutes later whistling Dixie. I was smart enough to fess up to making an internet error and it was handled.

Other than the tellers, wait time to speak or do other business is a long time, at least half an hour or more. They need more branches in the West Valley, particularly one northwest.
