Hometown Lenders was referred to us by our daughter-in-law after her parents recently financed a house through them. From the application through closing Kara Moncrief was a pleasure to work with. I was hesitant to purchase a second home, but Kara made the entire process extremely easy even though we live 500+ miles away. Kara went out of her way to communicate with us not only by phone calls but text messages and emails as well, easily accommodating our schedules. Kara went above and beyond, in our opinion, to provide information about the neighborhood & surrounding areas. She even connected us with the neighborhood through Facebook. Without a doubt if we ever decide to purchase another home, or know of somebody that plans to, we will be referring them to Kara. Basically, to sum up this entire review, we feel as though we have made a new friend 500+ miles away due to this business transaction & look forward to meeting her in person when we make the move. Working with Hometown Lenders was a really good experience. No delays and prompt, efficient service... everyone one there was easy to work with. Tyler and Kara communicated everything I needed to have. There were a lot of after hour calls and messages that helped me complete the process. I appreciate the hard work from both of them. I got a better interest rate too! When you are well over the $3000,000 mark, that counts a lot. They researched until it was found. --Saved me a lot of money. I have purchased more than five houses and this was the easiest loan process I have ever used.
