Check for hours of operation before attempting to attend. Not open on Monday, and have odd hours throughout the week. Sadly people have defaced the entrance with carvings in the granite to this great memorial to our Texas history and those who helped shape it. Several plaques are located around the monument giving descriptions of the events and history of the area and its involvement in the war. Overall a nice place to visit if you have business in the area or are passing through.

Decent Texas history museum with the Come and Take it Cannon. The reflecting pool has no water in it and is basically just an eyesore. The sidewalks and exterior placards under the trees could some TLC. Overall a nice museum to visit.

I enjoyed walking through the past and seeing all the memorabilia. All questions I asked were answered in a timely and concise manner. The historian is nice and friendly.

Come and take it original cannon is worth the stop. I wish the reflecting pool was better taken care of. Small museum with various artifacts from various time periods.

A little disappointing when I learned that the cannon on display was the smaller of two and not the actual cannon given to the Gonzalez settlers by the Mexican army.

Small museum with artifacts from local families and the Texas Revolution. The building is also a memorial to the local men who marched to and died in the Alamo.

The museum was good with a lot on the history of the area. The pool outside the museum was very green and dirty. Not sure how often they clean it.

Good museum of not only Texas Revolution items, but other times as well. The central item is the canon that started it all. Nice folks.
