I called the Dialysis center months after my husband passed away, to find out if any payment was owed, as I was in deep grief and could not handle things immediately. They gave me the phone number to this deplorable, God Forsaken agency, and I then called to find out what could be done of his medical balance. (All of the other places I called either wrote off some of the debt, or forgave it completely after his passing.) This company would not write anything off, except the 6.00 interest they charged. Not only that, but even after I called to tell them I was going to send payment in full right away, they insisted that it is "the LAW" that they send me a collection notice in the mail. If it is "the Law" I am unaware of this. I am the one who notified them I would be paying. I asked to speak with a supervisor who insisted same. After speaking with him, I understand why the place sucks at doing business. They are by the book...they have absolutely lost any humane qualities they could easily use to do a better collection business. So "By the book, that they cannot even hear what you are saying or carry on a normal conversation. SO SAD FOR THEM. ps the girl who first answers the phone is nice...possible their saving grace.

Animals. The worst. Because the ER doctor had wrong info (because the ER hosp gave them wrong info but managed to get the hospital bill paid no problem), ER doctor sent this to collection. REALLY? And then Southern Oregon Credit treated me so rudely for a matter of 83.00 that should have been covered by my insurance agency. Even when I told them I would just pay them, they continued to treat me so poorly. Because I am an accountant, I take pride in my good credit. I used to that is. This 83.00 has caused my credit rating to plummet over 100 points. And Southern Oregon Credit REFUSES to remove it from credit rating. This is affecting our ability to buy a house. UNBELIEVABLE. Karma is mean, Sabrina from Southern Oregon Credit Service. Special place in hell reserved for you.

Made a payment plan. Wasnt told that i cannot use a debit card to make my payment. I HAD to have a checking or savings account. I even told the woman working that i wanted to be put on automatic payments. She said that was fine. Come to find out, they dont do automatic withdrawls from my card. I was never told that and i asked if that was recorded, she said "your right its not noted that we informed you, that you would have to come down in person". So because if THEIR mistake i have to pay 25$ more!!! So now i have to go to an atm withdrawl money then go to their office and pay them. Horrible communication with this company! Wish i went through my husbands credit service business he pays. They are far less pushy and actually know how to communicate with customers!!!

We settled a contested claim in 7/2016, just to get SOCS off our backs, giving them at least $3000 in claimed penalties on a $10,000 bill Case was settled when we gave them all they demanded. Unfortunately we just discovered almost a year later that they continue to report the claim as unpaid. Review of court documents by our attorney confirms that they have not filed settlement and the credit services (all 3) continue to show the claim unpaid..If I could give a negative star I would. And to think I used to use them as my collection service for my business. Shame on me.

Interesting how when you have proof that your hours have been cut and cut and cut again and are barely getting by and this company goes ahead and files in court AND starts garnishing my wages. Thankfully the company I work for knows the law and only payed them a very small portion of my paycheck. Even the judge must know somethings up with them because they only allowed for 90 days of collections. I understand these are hard times and they are hard nosed but come on. Lets get real. I had a total of 41 hours for two weeks on my check. No groceries for me.

Southern Oregon Credit is the worst company to have to be affiliated with, they harrass you on a regular basis, threaten you, verbally and emotionally abuse you. One of the most manipulative debt collectors in the valley, especially Amanda Blake, if you ever have to deal with this lady just expect treatment as mentioned above, their practices are completely unpractical and illegal. I have reported this company to my state and credit consumer protection for these reasons. I strongly recommend to stay away from this business, or you will regret it.

What a bunch of horrible people! Years of paying faithfully on a debt and it was time to renew I play phone tag with them for weeks, and because no one ever answered the phone I was garnished. I get that debt collectors have a horrible job-but after being a faithful good standing client for so long, and they dropped the ball I get punished. ABSOLUETLY WRONG IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD!!! When I called to see if they would drop it and just let me keep paying the woman was SOOOO RUDE! I used to think somewhat highly of them...now FORGET IT!!!!

I received a phone call from a lady there. Did not disclose any information as to who she was where she calling from letting me know she was sending a letter. Little did I know she was sending a garnishment for something my health insurance would have paid. Very shady company and dosent comply with Oregon State Law
