To make a long story incredibly short, my case closed without a discharge due to my inability to complete my final debtor education class on time. After a period of about two months, I found out from the COURT about the closure and never received notice from PFG about anything going awry. After talking with a representative, they offered to forego the attorney fees to reopen the case for discharge and charge me court costs only, which was greatly appreciated. Fast forward to the date in which I was able to pay the court fees, and as it turns out, a supervisor had OVERIDDEN that attorney fee gesture, and without any notice sent to me, I had to pay the attorney fees as well. I know the inability to complete the course caused all of this and I own that, but being lied to about the attorney fees during an already stressful life event is ridiculous. The communication from this firm is sub par at best. Avoid.

1st it took them 3 pay periods for them to remove my wage garnishments when they advertise it will stop immediately. They told me my money would be refunded to me and it hasnt. 2ND they added $300+ to my bill that were not discussed with me for other court fees after my contact was already signed and established. 3rd my lawyer did not look like what a lawyer should. She was 15 mins late and looked like she had just rolled out of bed. Her pants were ripped and dragging on the floor. Her shirt did not even fit her plus size body with her boobs hanging out. Her hair was in a messy ponytail. When I asked her a simple questions about my case she told me to call the office for my answer. You are my lawyer and I paid a lot of money to represent me. This was not worth the $2000+ dollars you are making me pay. Plus being on hold for 20 mins and no personal 1 on 1 time except for my first meeting is unacceptable!

My husband and I were very overwhelmed in the beginning. However Morgan at PFG helped us understand and feel better about getting debt relief. Its been a big relief off our chests. One thing i definitely loved was we were able to communicate through emails/messages. Made it so much easier than playing phone tag. They worked with us in a professional manner.
