I was first contacted by "Heather" who said that she was with the PUD (Snohomish County Public Utility). She informed me that I had not paid a bill and that I was being charged interest as well. The information that she gave me was questionable at best, yet I believe that she deliberately miss-led me to thinking she was a PUD employee. The follow-up calls have been interesting as well. Heather gives me information for Minnesota and the calls originate in Bozeman, MT. She has an accomplice who has a faulty head-set and blames the call quality on my phone, claiming that my voice is dropping out and she can only hear every other word. The rudeness and incompetence set this "collections" company apart from all others that I have worked with. Yes, I have prior experience with debt collections, so I have a reference to compare IC System. The funny thing, when I called the PUD and explained my situation, their response was: "The PUD does not use IC Sytem for their debt collections". The PUD was very helpful and patient with me. They assured me that I owe them no money for any account listed at the address that IC systems claims that I am delinquent. I remember when the house was finished being built in 2004 and there was never a house there before. I will report and file a claim against IC System to the BBB and look into fraud against "Heather"

Terrible business practices and customer service. I.C System does not act ethically in terms of reporting collection accounts. They have repeatedly reported collection accounts that do not belong to me on my credit report. Each time I have disputed the information and each time the information is removed but several months later it is placed on my credit report again. I have talked to I.C agents regarding this matter and they have agreed that this account does not belong to me. However, the collections keep reappearing. At this point, it appears to be carelessness and perhaps even a falsifying of information. This is considering that they are aware that the collection being reported is not mine. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and strongly suggest anyone else dealing with this type of issue to do so as well, as you might find some relief in filing with the FTC. If enough people have legitimate concerns and complaints then the FTC will launch an investigation.

This is a poorly-run business with rather stupid and snotty whelps that heap abuse out to provoke you. The typical "collector" is an immature 22-year-old who will just torment you with calls up to 8 times a day. Management has installed automatic-dialling machines that are programmed to continue to dial you constantly at all hours. When you pick up the line you are greeted with a recording that puts you "on hold" until maybe the collector frees up from the previous torment, and if not, then you get disconnected, and they just dial you again . It seems the only thing that would stop the abuse if if you take a tire iron to their skulls.

Well I got a bill from them and I did not know about it and had to call att twice to verify I actually owed it. So I called to speak to a rep since I work in collections as well just to mess with them. Told the guy I would send a ten dollar money order every month lol! He was a pushover. So then I gave him my debit card for the balance and said there is a $10 fee so I said I would pay online. He waived the fee and was very polite. Maybe a bit too nice to collect debts.

I have 2 different accounts on my credit report and both say they are in collections with this company. Ive tried multiple times to contact them to resolve the two accounts and every time I call the number i get a recording saying that the office is closed! I went to their website and even the 800 customer service number is always a busy signal! How the hell am I supposed to get in touch with someone to pay these two small accounts and get them off of my credit report??

I worked as a debt collector for IC System. The stuff they tell the collections agents to do is beyond illegal.. Your better off blocking their phone number and paying your debt with the place you have. If your bill is new with them it is considered as HOT. If they can get the full amount from you, the big portion of that bill goes in their pocket and not the agency it self you owe money to. I just like pissing them off and irritating them when they call..

They called me concerning a six year old bill I had long disputed. Every time they call, and I say they dispute the bill, they pretend not to hear me. Furthermore, their employees refuse to give me their name, company name, and a callback number. Although they have not yet cursed at me, they are rude and refuse to acknowledge that I dispute the bill, and they are to cease and desist calling me; they now call upwards of three times a day from spoofed numbers.

I actually had to call them. They never contacted me. I found out about a $37.25 dental bill from 5 years ago on a credit report. They never contacted me they just put me right on the report. I told them i was going to pay by check they said ok have a nice day. I said I need the address. The woman was barely audible and it was as if i was incviencaning her by paying my bill. I am pay via bank check. no way am i giving these crooks my CC information.

Never been contacted by them, found out i owed from creditkarma. Called them to set up a payment and they told me they only have the account for 10 months and there is only 3 months left. So I can make payments for 3 months and then it may or may not, go to another company that I would then have to call and re-start the whole process. When I stated I didnt want to chance my payments on a maybe, the lady got super rude and said, "bye", and hung up.

An old employee went to the doctor - he had personal insurance - was NOT a work related call. There was a copay owed - they are demanding a payment from us the bigger issue is the company was sold in May 2017 and now as a new business they are send us a bill from 2016 complete all their required avenues to correct this matter and still want to send our Company to Collection... You all need to get this corrected asap - this is harassment

I randomly found a new collections account on my credit report, I owe no such bill, but they FRAUDULENTLY opened it as the company listed on my collections account has all positive remarks for my accounts(They called me) so no one contacted them for a collections account! Rude when you call, hung up on me because i didnt want to give my SSN or phone info to a company with thousands of complaints about spam calls, why would I do that?

Worst collection company. Kool Smiles billed me in error for $51.60 .IC systems stated they never received a call that the debit was in error. The company still sent the bill to my credit report which caused me to lose 47 points. The representatives are rude and stated I had to wait 30 days for the error to be corrected.They would not let me speak to manager and keep trying to get me off the phone without giving me a resolution.

There is a dispute im making because i did not authorize my ex girlfriend on opening any accounts with the company they represent, i never sign up or open an accunt with them which they have no prrof, but still report this. the worst part is that im gonna have to pay 110 bucks just to get ride of this collection which is bad on my credit mostly when im trying to buy a home :@ really upset

been getting calls from them ever since i got a new phone number. they are calling for some man who had the number before me. i have told them repeatedly that they have the wrong number. they have replied saying they will update their information, but yet they KEEP CALLING. every time i block one of their numbers, they call from a new one. i have over 30 numbers blocked currently.

I found out that I owed a healthcare company money from a visit back in 2015 and they ended up forwarding it to collections. When I called, the CSR was very understanding and willing to help me work through it. She (I think her name was Joanne) was extremely friendly and it was a lot better of an experience than I was expecting based off the other reviews for their company.

Called to pay the debt but they refused to email or send a letter detailing the resolution. Said I would have to pay and wait 30 days before they would email / send a letter, and the best I could get is a receipt. Talked with two different reps. What a terrible policy.

IC Systems reduced my spouses debt in half! After the debt was paid, the company completely removed the negative report off my spouses credit within days. Unlike most collection agencies which take up to 30 days and then stay on your credit report for 7 years!

Unfortunately worked with IC Systems for year. They were totally ineffective in collecting even the shortest aged accounts. Always excuses as to why but, the proof was in the pudding. Truth be told none of the collections agencies are worth the money.
