When I first needed to buy auto insurance a friend recommended his agent. I liked the agent. He worked for another insurance company. Because of what I gather was (typically?) inappropriate experience by an insurance company, this agent’s accounts were transferred to Plymouth Rock. I stayed with Plymouth Rock for far too many years, mainly to stay with the agent. During that time, I have had far too many bad experiences with the company. Examples: bills sent which do not provide any explanation. Customer service reps sometimes not making changes they said they would. Etc. I would NEVER recommend this company to someone looking to buy home or auto insurance. Seems to me the problems are far more often due to the way the company operates, its policies, then the customer service representatives, who often have acted very professionally. After speaking to a customer service rep the day before I received an email from Plymouth Rock requesting I complete a survey. I panned PR for its poor billing procedure, while I complimented the customer service rep in the survey. After finishing the last question, the last page of the survey ended with the following statement. “Thanks for your great review! We appreciate your insights and hope you will consider sharing your Plymouth Rock experience with others by leaving a review on Google Reviews.” Plymouth Rock survey designers incorrectly ended the survey with the stock phrase about my “great review.” Their error encouraged me to submit this negative review.

After about Twenty Years, I had a car crash and Allstate raised my rates through the roof. The entire experience, since the accident, made me feel extremely intimidated and was depressing. I already felt horrible about having the accident. When I started to get insurance quotes, Plymouth Rock saved me hundreds of dollars. The representative was so kind, considerate, Very Patient, and made me feel respected and he was So Pleasant to speak with!! What a Wonderful Experience after the upsetting months with Allstate. Like the ads say, "Why have insurance if when you do have an accident, they raise your rates through the roof and you are treated badly." Why would we have insurance in the first place, if not for a possible auto accident that you truthfully hope would Never Occur? Plymouth Rock is a fine company with representatives that truly Help and Assist with such a kind, courteous, and knowledgeable manner!!! I am so grateful for Plymouth Rock Insurance Company!

I had a very minor fender bender a few weeks back and have never had to call in a vehicle claim before. I was expecting long hold times, someone who barely spoke English, and a difficult process. Honestly, it was such a simple process, and I only spoke to 3 people the entire time. The initial call center rep, my claims rep, and the body shop. The entire time, everyone was concerned with our safety and making sure it was a good experience. The only downside was the body shop could have given me an ETA as to when they would be calling with an estimate(waited close to 48 hours), but that was a small drop in the bucket. Overall a great first experience, and ill definetely stick with Plymouth Rock.

I had a very unpleasant surprise from my former insurance company and went looking for a new company. I found Plymouth Rock. The agent told me I had been grossly overcharged by the previous company and gave me a very much cheaper rate. I was very pleasantly surprised. He then went on to tell me that he already had all my info and that he could start my coverage immediately, I of course said yes. And, on top of that, he had the previous company refund my last 2 payments. Needless to say, I am very pleased with Plymouth Rock! So pleased that I have recently renewed my policy. I very heartily recommend Plymouth Rock to any of my fellow New Jerseyans.

Everything about them is absolutely wonderful. I spoke with Hailey and she was such a sweetheart. As a young adult getting car insurance on my own for the first time, i was very nervous and scared. She made me feel like I was speaking to my best friend and helped me to relax. I was not sure if I was going to be getting this insurance and I asked if she could call back, Hailey agreed and she called me at the exact time that she had promised me she would call. Hailey was very I formative and she got me all the discounts that she could including one for good students. If I could give this insurance more than 5 stars I would.

Are You Kidding Me?? Plymouth Rock has got to be the Very Best Car Insurer on the Planet!! Been with you well over ten years. An unavoidable black ice crash (expensive) to my new car in 2007 was assessed by you, fixed in a very timely fashion and provided me with alternate transportation. An engine fire in 2013 to our 2005 pickup (while unoccupied) resulted in a total loss with a more than fair allowance for the truck by Plymouth Rock. Till this day, your premium is still so competitive there is no way I want to go elsewhere. Thank you for your service and standing by me in my time of need.

IT MAY BE A CHEAPER INSURANCE BUT THEY ARE THE HARDEST TO GET IN TOUCH WITH AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST IVE EXPERIENCED EVER! I WAS TRANSFERED 4 TIMES TO BE TOLD THE AGENCY HAS TO DO EVERYTHING AFTER 15 MINUTES BEING O THE PHONE WITH 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE. AT LEAST WITH NATIONAL COMPANIES THEY ARE OPENED ON WEEKENDS WHICH THIS COMPANY ISNT. THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN INSURANCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I WOULD STRONGLY RE-CONSIDER PURCHASING A POLICY FROM THIS COMPANY, ITS NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS!

I had my first incident and used my Plymouth Rock coverage. How about 10 stars? The appraiser, William Talmadge and his associate were at my place of work the next day. In a few hours they brought me a check to repair my car. I was blown away. They were kind, professional and just awesome. From the moment I made the call, to the appraisal. I was dreading the whole process but I was overwhelmed with the speed and efficiency of all involved. You have a loyal customer for like. Thank you.

My rates were being increased by my existing carrier. I called various companies such as Geico, Essurance, Liberty Mutual, State Farm to name some. Plymouth Rock provided me with the most competitive rate and very friendly service. The agent, Denise, was very helpful and provided me with various options. The agent also went thru a very thorough review so I could understand everything being presented. It was a pleasure to deal with them.

I can give this company only 5 stars. I had Allstate as my auto and home insurer for 2 years. They raised the home insurance so high that there was no reasonable explanation as I never had any claims. After searching on line Jonathan Rocha called me. The rates with my last auto policy went up, so I called Plymouth. Joanne Harden was extremely helpful and very nice. We were on the phone for about an hour because I also switched my Homeowners Policy to Plymouth. The rate I got with Plymouth was substantially less and for the same coverage. Great experience and Joanne was very nice.

Plymouth Rock is by far the most worst insurance provider ive ever been in contact with. I will never recommend this company. Stay away!!! They are nice & helpful to get you in the door but as soon as your a customer they do not assist you, you are on your own.
