It was a miserable experience. I am so glad I never have to deal with the Cranford office again. They kept losing paperwork that I have repeatedly faxed over. I had to push back my mortgage commitment twice because they did not get it done on time. They kept giving our case to someone different and we never knew who to speak to. We almost did not close because LORI messed up our loan and they had to do it over the day of closing. LORI is a miserable and unprofessional person, she hung up on me and was extremely rude when I called to follow up on the staus of our loan. Then apologized for her inappropriateness via email to my husband. I do not recommend the Cranford office. They fell very short of what they promised when we were recommended to them. Thankfully, I got my house. If it did not work out because of their incompetence and disorganization, I would of made sure they were all out of a job.

I had the pleasure of working with Jersey Mortgage on two occasions. Applying for a mortgage or refinance can be a time-consuming and stressful process. Al Perez was there for us from start to finish during both of my applications. He walked me and my wife through all of the steps and explained in detail all of the options available to us. We would often go back and ask Al to explain some of the details again and he was always patient and professional. He would always take our calls or call us back immediately if we had any concerns, even during the evenings and weekends. He was also very proactive in resolving potential issues before they became issues and kept in touch with us constantly throughout the whole process to ensure it was going as smoothly and quickly as possible. I would highly recommend Al Perez and Jersey Mortgage.

We had been looking for a house for over 2 years and initially started working with Jersey Mortgage Company. Our representative, Joe B, was very patient, and checked in with us frequently to see how our search was going. When we finally put an offer in on a house he was amazingly patient in helping us sort through every option available to us. Kim B was fantastic in ensuring that all of our paperwork was submitted on time so that we would close on our target date. Our closing date was ambitious, but the team at Jersey Mortgage was so efficient that we were able to close in less than 6 weeks from time of offer. I would recommend the, our Realtor would recommend them, and our attorney would recommend them. They were amazing.

I cannot say too many good things about Jersey Mortgage and more specifically about Alex Rivera. Getting a mortgage is stressful and there were a number of factors in my application process that were difficult. Alex walked me through every step and through the process relieved much of the stress. We were rewarded with a mortgage with a better interest rate than we anticipated and a loan amount which met all of our needs. As a result of the work done by Jersey Mortgage and Alex Rivera are happily in our new home which, while sounding corny, really is our dream house. Again, my wife and I (and our grandchildren who now can visit almost every day) cannot thank Alex and Jersey Mortgage enough Ross and Diane Haber

My wife and I were looking to purchase our first home to raise our young children. After extremely bad experiences with other companies we contacted Jersey Mortgage Company. Our Loan Officer Cari Sweet was phenomenal from beginning to end. She was straight forward with us and was attentive to all of our concerns. We greatly appreciated all of the other team members as well Linda Oliveira (Sr Loan Processor) and Johanna Trejos (Mortgage Loan Closer). Everyone was completely professional and helped us through the greatest investment in our lives. Now my wife, children and I are extremely happy in our new home. I will definitely recommend Jersey Mortgage to anyone who is purchasing a home.

Although I was not a customer of Jersey Mortgage, the buyers of my house were. What an awful experience. Even though JMC had pre-approved their clients, they kept saying they would deliver a mortgage commitment yet they missed so many promised dates. Nothing really got done until we said we were walking away from the deal. In the end, the closing date was delayed two months thanks to JMC. Unfortunately, interest rates rose a full point during this delay so JMC will end up costing me over $25,000 in additional interest on my mortgage. My attorney told me that she has dealt with JMC several times and it has always been a negative experience. I suggest that you avoid this company.

This is my third time I have had the honor of being with Joe Bonaduce and Jersey Mortgage. I have had two opportinuties for buying our home and this time we did a refinance. I worked a lot with Joe and his associate Linda Oliveira. Both are good people that want to work with you to make what seems like an endless, unbearable process as painfree as possible. This time around we even had Dawn Urbanowicz with Closing Partner come to us for all the signing. How much easier can they make it? I wish Jersey Mortgage could sell cars... I highly recommend Jersey Mortgage for any Mortgage needs and if by some miracle the rates fall even lower, you know who I have on speed dial for #4.

Al Perez came highly recommended, while his having many years of experience and knowledge in the mortgage industry. Al is very professional and needless to say very dedicated to Jersey Mortgage and to his clients, while spending most of his time and life in an effort to assist and close a mortgage, regardless of the day and/or time, if need be, Al is there for you. Unfortunately I can not say anything good and/or anything positive about the coordination, cooperation and underwriting process which to put it nicely, leaves a lot to be desired and if it had not been for Al we would have gone elsewhere to seek a mortgage.

Al Perez, Vice President at JMC, was a great assistance to us in our search to purchase our new home. From the beginning of our search, he has been courteous to us and available for us, even after hours. I appreciate his responsiveness to our needs, especially in times when we experienced difficulty in getting our answers address from JMC staff. Our experience with JMC overall was not perfect, but Mr Perez sought to it that our inquiries were being addressed when it mattered the most and subsequently pushed for our loan to be closed. We appreciate his dedication and hard work in an obviously difficult market.

As a 1st time Home Buyer, my experience with Jersey Mortgage was a breeze. I would say that Mr. Joe Bonaduce really explained to me every step of the way and was always calling to check up on things. He made sure that our 1st time Home Buying Mortgage Experience was a stress-free. The only things I did not like is that I was dealing with 2 agents instead of 1. Since our income / credit was not the greatest, we had to fall into the FHA loan. So far the experience has been good. Will only wait till the 1st Mortgage is sent to us by the bank that my loan was sold to.

I just got off the phone with a very rude Al Perez. I explained to him that as first time home buyers we were concerned about the information we were getting and would have questions. While going over the GFE he told me "Hurry up, I have people waiting for me" He was very rude and seemed bothered by my questions. I read the reviews and should have paid more attention to the bad ones, especially the ones that mentioned Al Perez. If this is your first time purchasing a home, do not waste your time with Jersey Mortgage especially if you get Al Perez!!

Not big on writing reviews but in this day and age only one thing matters and that is reputation. And after having a tough time understanidng the process of getting a loan, JMC and especially Al Perez who pretty much held my hand in walking thorugh the process. Anytime I called (and I called a lot) and any silly question that I had Al was always very responsive and took time to respond. Now I have a three family home and will soon be reaching out again to buy home #2. Great company and great people. Very happy with the service.

Their communication is very good; they remind everyone involved of tasks that need to get done. I just closed on my house, which went very smoothly and on time. Most of this was due to the efficiency of my loan processor, Lori Pisano. She was a dream to work with. My family and I had to endure painful waits to receive mortgage. They kept saying "it is the investors". That meant nothing to us. I submitted everything very timely and not to be able to plan and be told that some nameless, faceless, anonymous investor was holding everything up for no reason was very disturbing and stressful. Loan reps return calls and are available anytime day or night. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Could not ask for a better company to get a mortgage.

I would not recommend Jersey Mortgage Company at all. They were unable to provide me with the lowest interest rate and in my opinion they were not honest with me about the reasons why. I was forced to close on my property at an above market interest rate because the closing was imminent and I could not locate another lender.

My experience with Jersey mortgage was a good one. I Closed my house on March, even though it got delayed by 2 months Jersey Mortgage was with me the whole time. They helped me out extending the rate lock without any penalty. Definitely i will recommend it to anybody.
