A few years ago, started my divorce process with Kelly Shattuck. I feel that he was reckless with my case and only looking out for himself. He made me loose a lot of money due to his mistakes. Here is the story: After trying to serve papers to my ex personally, by sheriff and then by publication (the last try before she would be "in default"), Mr. Shattuck set up a hearing for a default divorce. The day of the hearing Mr. Shattuck was not present and he had a replacement lawyer that I had never met take his place. To make things worse, we began and the judge started looking over the papers for the case. Almost immediately, the judge said that we cannot do a default hearing yet. It was only 60 days since the publication and we were supposed to wait 90 days. I used vacation time from work and he wasted my time. Default divorces are supposed to be extremely easy and your spouse cannot get half of your possessions. However, after he messed up, my ex responded in the final 30 days after publication and the process continued. This made the divorce cost even more, since Mr. Shattuck charged me for further actions after his mess up. Also, I lost half of my retirement account due to his mistake. Mr. Shattuck and his staff are only trying to get as much money out of you as possible. They have no concern for you personally. If you want a good lawyer for your divorce, get someone that will look out for your interests. P.S. I sent Mr. Shattuck an email and it cost me $85 for him to take 15 minutes to read and respond to it.

Early in the divorce case, chris vacannti stated he was at hearing of which my ex was awarded the family home. I was not notified of the award, nor its discussion at the hearing. Without knowledge, I went to get my clothes from the marital home. This resulted in a protection order application against me by my ex. After reviewing order (6 weeks old at the time)...it showed that chris was not present at the hearing and signed only by opposing counsel and judge. I checked with clerk and the order was delivered to chris via email. Staff gave me 3 different stories as to why I was not informed. Ultimately, chris stated the order went to his "spam" email folder. I released him that day. Mike freed

Kelly shattuck is a rip off... He overprice and will take your retainer in less than a month... He charge $50 to talk to him but... Doesnt tell you.. He lack his work and his assistant does everything.. He just sign his name.. And review its before he work in court...
