Jennifer was my attorney for several legal issues. She is in my opinion the reason attorneys get a bad name; she did the very least she could do and get paid. I’m not unreasonable. (At the time I probably expected to get a lot more out of my divorce), but looking back at it now and I can clearly see I was robbed by my ex wife and her average lawyer because my incompetent lawyer did nothing to assist me. I could go on and detail everything she “failed” to do, but instead I’ll just highlight the most glaring failure. In my divorce I was hoping for joint custody (50/50); now obviously that wasn’t going to happen, but along with getting my ex the max child support it is also written that if my wife doesn’t have a job (which of course she hasn’t now for 2 years) I have to pay for my child’s insurance (100% of it) along with 50% of the out of pocket… I have since revisited an attorney about lowering my child support and other divorce decree’s and they actually laughed at the ethics involved and actually asked if I had legal representation on the original matter.
