I would give this sad excuse for a company NEGATIVE stars if that was possible. I moved in January and requested my address be changed. They did it - completey wrong! I called and called and called for over 5 MONTHS...YES, 5 MONTHS!! I was told that the "Account Changes Dept" has my request and will take care of it. They cannot give you a time frame, any answeres etc. What kind of Customer Service is no able to change an address on ones account? Seriously? A joke!!! I then was awaiting this change to happen so that I could choose a plan finally. I was "Given" a plan that was covered by only a heart doctor within 25 miles of me!!!!!!! I asked to change plans and after 2 months of waiting and roughly 80 hours on hold, a supervisor called me and helped me change my plan. I made the payment of $320 dollars THAT day which was before the 23rd deadline..everything was finally good! My plan was to start on 5/1/15 and guess what...the money was deducted from my account and THEY CANNOT FIND MY PAYMENTS!!!!!!!!!!! I have faxed over the confirmation emails that state they received my payment and the bank statement showing the money was removed by the health connector from my account. I am now 3 months pregnant and have all the serious genetic testing set up for next week and I might not be able to go to those appointments because after another 5 days of waiting - and 15 days after $320.00 was removed from my account they have YET to find my friggin money. I am so unbelievably distraut, stressed and well now $320.00 poorer for NOTHING!!!

I have been part of MA Health Connector for over two years now. While I think the program and service overall is okay and have generally been satisfied (aside from the astronomically soaring premium prices), they REALLY need to work on their customer service process! Not user friendly at all. While I appreciate that they have to deal with a lot of customer issues each day as a vital part of everyday life, they should have figured out most of their major issues by now. It is getting ridiculous. My specific complaint is about my tax form (1095-A). I never received my first copy and I have now requested two duplicates. Both times I have been sent emails confirming my request and telling me that I will receive the form in 7-10 business days. It has now been almost a month and I have not seen the form. I have called twice to check on the status and both times have been given the run around and told its "on its way.." this is after waiting on hold and answering useless questions from a robot for almost an hour. It seems like the only way to get anything done is to go talk to them in person at one of their walk in centers (and likely wait in line for hours). It is unfair to assume someone can get there during the strict hours they are open during the week. Wish they could get it together.

Incompetence runs high on this agency, I just need a form 1095A form for my federal tax and I am calling for the third time. First on May 25th I spoke with Belinda and she took almost a hour to find my payments then told me I would get my form in 10 days, it never arrived, on 06/08 I called and spoke with Joe he said I would get my form in 3 days, never arrived, now I am here for 45 minutes talking with Evan and she hung up on me. I find the information on their website but they can not find it, incompetence runs really high. I will now go to an office because by the phone only incompetent people.

Several times I was on hold for more than 45 minutes and when someone answers, they say I have to get transferred to a different department. I asked them if they had a direct number they said no, I had to call here first. Well guess what? They transfer me and the phone hangs up. One day I spent almost 6 hours just to get to the right people and almost got in trouble for work. Now I am looking around to see if the office on Portland street is open on Saturdays. All I see is conflicting information as to whether they are open or not. I dont want to take a trip up there for no reason.

The first time I enrolled for an insurance plan through the MA Health Connector was last spring. It went very easily and quickly by using an agent at the local hospital. The re-enrollment process was a pain in the butt and found that 2 out of the 3 agents that I spoke with via telephone in the past two weeks gave out misinformation, which resulted in my bank account being charged an extra (almost) 300 dollars..Luckily the third person knew what she was doing and was able to give me accurate information.

My April payment was not credited to my account and my policy was canceled in spite of my faxing them the canceled check. Three months and many phone calls later and they are still promising to reinstate my insurance...oh and I had to send them $50.00 in addition to my July premium for reinstatement. It is July and I have not had insurance since April in spite of paying every month.

It should be clarified that this particular google listing is for the Walk In Center at 146 Main Street as it says, not the customer service call center at the number above. The reviews here are for the call center from the looks of it, but there is no mention of the walk in center where excellent customer service is provided and very knowledgeable and helpful representatives.

Total waste of government money. One hand has no idea what the other is doing. They had no problem taking my money and then telling me my plan was canceled. Now they have my money and the manager asks why did you pay on the 30th and not the 23rd. What kind of question is that?!!! and what does it matter. bottom line is they now have my money and are not providing any services.
