Attorney Marc Breakstone was a godsend. On December 21, four days before Christmas, I found myself in a nightmare. As I stood in a crosswalk walking home in Brookline, a van going over 40mph flew into my body. As I rolled over the van, I immediately felt my life was over. My backpack tore off my body like it was held on by paper. And when I hit the cement all I could think about was the oncoming traffic which would crush me. Miraculously, cars screeched to a halt before hitting me. Instinctually, I tried to get up and run away from where I laid, but I couldn’t. I was bloody, in excruciating pain, and my legs motionless from spine trauma. For the first time in my life I felt fragile and temporal. The ambulance arrived and paramedics placed me on a stretcher and tore off my clothes. They rushed me to BIDMC trauma center where I received medical treatment for a broken vertebra, spine trauma, and vascular and nerve damage in my legs. I felt helpless and overwhelmed. I knew my body would require years of healing and that I would never be 100%. I had no clue where to begin or how to recover. And having moved to Boston for work, I had no family to take care of me. By the grace of God, I found Marc Breakstone. Several days after my accident, I was referred to him. I remember distinctly my first conversation with him over the phone. I was overwhelmed with his kindness, sympathy, and most importantly wisdom. He somehow gave me optimism in my darkest time. I was impressed that he called me while he was on vacation with his family. And even though he couldn’t meet with me in person immediately, the very next day he sent his partner David White to visit me in my home. I was incredibly impressed with the two men and knew I could not possibly be in better hands. Over the course of two years of treatment, Marc was always there for me. He consistently checked in on me. He gave me invaluable counsel, optimism, and always his Yiddish words of wisdom (which I now use myself). I felt comfortable talking to Marc about anything. And even though I knew Marc had many cases more important than mine, I truly felt I was his only client. Marc Breakstone and his assistant Christine Roberts are spectacular. I was badly injured as a pedestrian victim of a hit-and-run while crossing in a crosswalk. My partner’s stepmother was walking alongside of me, and was also seriously injured. I didn’t know what to do in the aftermath, no one had caught the license plate number of the perpetrator’s vehicle, and the police had no leads to follow. I was out of work, and my career path up until that point relied on my physical capabilities that were suddenly and drastically impaired. I was recommended to Breakstone, White & Gluck by a close family friend who had studied law and who I knew I could trust. I made the trip on my crutches and dropped in their office in the afternoon of the first business day after New Year’s Day. Ronald Gluck and his paralegal Nancy DiCesare stopped what they were doing to talk to me and see if something could be done. I was immediately impressed that they were willing to talk to me right away! Mr. Gluck informed me that even though I wasn’t driving, my auto insurance policy could still offer coverage in this situation. He listened carefully, took detailed notes, was compassionate, and after talking with him during that first meeting, I knew that I had found the right attorney. I continued to be impressed by Mr. Gluck’s professionalism and knowledge of the processes involved in handling my claim. I didn’t know how to deal with the medical bills that were piling up from visits with orthopedic specialists, MRI’s, and frequent visits with physical therapists. Mr. Gluck and his team got on top of it all, making sure my bills were covered by my insurers, and allowing me focus on my recovery process. Mr. Gluck never settled for anything less than the most possible for me in my predicament, and gathered all necessary information and documentation to back up our demands to my insurance company. His work was thorough to the point that the insurance company was in no position to withhold any portion of the amount I had in my policy’s coverage. He saw the entire process through to the end including making sure no lagging bills came up months later due to delays in the submission of paperwork. Ron Gluck represented me after I was severely injured when I was hit by a car while I was walking in a crosswalk. Initially I was represented by an attorney who did not specialize in serious injury cases and the case was not going well. I then retained Ron to represent me. As soon as Ron became my lawyer he informed me of what his strategy would be. He began the process of deciding which expert witness would be retained to investigate and prove the severity of the damages I suffered. I felt confident from the start that Ron would go the distance to make sure I was protected financially for the future. When I was hit by the car, I suffered serious injuries including a brain injury, fractures and other orthopedic injuries. He continued to work on the case and several months later the insurer made an offer that Ron and I felt was fair and would protect me financially from the long term challenges I would face from my injuries. His advice to be patient and his determination to see that I receive fair compensation made all the difference in the amount I received. Throughout the process Ron was a strong advocate, professional, calm and reassuring, I highly recommend Ron to anyone who has suffered serious injuries.

Marc Breakstone skillfully represented my two sisters and me in a wrongful death lawsuit against an ambulance company that dropped my sister on her head, killing her. The case went to trial in April, 2015. My sisters and I attended the entire trial and got to see Marc in action. We feel that we had the best possible representation with Marc. A lot has been said already about how wonderful the law firm of Breakstone, White and Gluck is, in particularly Marc Breakstone so I will keep this brief. Marc took my case over 2 years ago when I was injured after slipping and severely breaking my ankle which left me with 2 plates and numerous screws as a parting gift. Unfortunately, I still cannot walk properly to this day and I can forget about ever wearing heels again that is for sure. Marc is everything all the reviewers say he is. He is extremely professional, tenacious, passionate, experienced and probably most importantly effective. In the end, Marc settled my case successfully, which is want you want from your attorney, so I could not be happier. My only slight critique, which is different from the other reviews so maybe it is an anomaly, is I did not find Marc to be an effective communicator with me personally (My husband loved him so maybe it is a girl thing). As he puts it, “he is not a hand-holder” so do be prepared to have long swaths of time where he does not check-in or provide any updates. His telephone style was also a bit unique for me. Besides this very minor comment, I enthusiastically recommend Marc and his firm. His assistant Christine is amazing and probably deserves a huge raise! Choose this firm and best of luck to you as no one ever really wants to be in a position where they have to find a personal injury lawyer…. You won’t regret it!
