I will absolutely do business with them again. I worked with Mark Quinn to Refi my loan. The process took longer, since the original person who was handling my case unfortunately left the company. The transition process was poor but from my perspective, these things happen. But Mark Quinn did everything to make it up to me; he was very professional, upfront, courteous and apologetic about the situation. I was also on a long work assignment in Europe and therefore we did everything via email, he was quick to respond and very organized. Bottom-line is that even during the unfortunate lengthy process, I frequently checked other lenders and not once I found a rate that CHL gave me. He treated me with respect, got the job done and saved me money; so be it that it took longer.

Community Home Lending, and in particular, the loan officer, Steve Kingston, have been incredible to us. Having been through this process many times before, I was quite surprised how easily and smoothly it all went- especially with the current climate of economic unrest, government sanctions and imposed scrutiny affecting lenders and buyers. Steve was very friendly and made us feel he took special interest in us. Most amazing was that a few months into the loan, he called us and we refinanced with minimal cost, at a full point below our initial loan. 3 and ½% fixed for 15 years!!! Wow!!At first I was reluctant, but he convinced us it was the right move. All we can say is Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!

I worked with Mark Quinn for our original home purchase and then again for our refinance to lower our rate a year later. I am very inquisitive and ask a ton a questions all of which were answered very quickly and completely. We did everything through email and scanning documents, it was all very streamlined and made to be easy on us, they even came to our house to close the loan! Mark is someone who truly understands how confusing some of the process can be for someone who knows nothing about refinancing and is very understanding and attentive. I will for sure recommend him to everyone I know!

Lack of integrity is an understatement. I was told that a refinance would be a quick and easy process but then SEVEN months later I was told that the loan officer I was dealing with had left the company and that there was no file for me anywhere. At that point I requested to resubmit the paper work that had already been completed but never received an answer. This was the worst experience ever and it’s a shame that you put your trust into a company only to get shafted in the end.

I solicited numerous bids for our home re-fi. Jeff Robards easily beat the most competitive bid I had, and no one else could beat it when I followed up. After that, the process was a breeze. I had to deal with a lower appraisal value than what I was expecting, but he walked me through and explained my options, and the whole thing went off without a hitch, even from halfway across the country. The whole process was quick, painless, and ended up saving me a bundle.

Jeff Robards is my mortgage guy. I have refinanced two loans with him and purchased a new home with him. He always answered the phone (almost every time on the first ring) and gave me honest answers even when my questions were very detailed. The rates were great on all of the loans and there were no finance "tricks" aimed at hiding the costs of the loan. I have reccomeded Jeff to my friends and would reccomend him to anyone looking for a mortgage.

They will give you Pre-approval letter, but they will not give you the loan. My suggestion, find other bank to do the loan.
