This is the worst insurance company in the US (Also known as MGA Insurance Co Inc). Their customer service sucks, none of their representatives will call you back because it is "your" responsibility to follow up with them because they are too busy to give you personalized attention. Oh but then the representative tells you how many customer service awards he has won. You better hope and pray you never get hit by one of their insured as my wife did or your life will be miserable trying work with them for the next month, yes I said an entire month, to settle a claim that they knew was totaled after the first week. STAY AWAY, pay extra and get a company that gives a crap about their service like Allstate or Progressive.
These people are monsters, they will make you jump through millions of hoops to cancel a policy. I had them for a few months and randomly got a letter of cancellation in the mail, I then got a different car policy from a separate company. A few weeks go by and I get a letter from these fraudulent monsters saying my policy was reinstated. I then get charged, I call them and get the charge removed and have to send a fax cancellation to complete my escape from their policy. Then today I find another letter in my mail saying my policy is still going, I call and explain only to be told I have to email them my new policy and a letter of cancellation. This is a nightmare.
Get involved with this company because their insurer crashed into my car. These are my reasons for such negative feedback : 1. their estimates are very low ( 10% from actual cost) 2. they do not want to pay for car rental for more then 20 days. In my situation NEW estimated cost was hanging for approval for 2 weeks and after that , repair shop did not have enough time to order parts and fix car. They just called me to inform that I have to return my car in 4 days. 3. They put it all on actual customer. It will be your problem to fight with them about car rentals and pricing for repair. Just terrible experience !
This company is horrible!!! Every month I have been charged a different amount then what I was originally told, and when I call customer service EVERY MONTH they tell me a different price as well and try to give me an "estimate" of what my next bill will be which is also wrong. Their customer service is horrible and can never solve my issues. I would not recommend them to anyone. Also their auto pay deal is all screwed up, it did not come out twice like it was supposed to so I was charged a late fee and eventually had to get my insurance renewed
This company is not easy to contact them and more when you have an accident I was checking and marking and now I can not contact you and they blame you because you do not immediately mark them I had an accident
I can not express enough how much I dislike this company. Their driver hits me and every conversation I have with them I am made to feel like the bad guy. I have been waiting on a check from them and finally used my own money to get my truck back from the body shop. Of course now that I have done that I am getting no help. I want my money back! It is bad enough it has affected our family business but now it is affecting my home bills too!
The agent I spoke to, Chris was very patient and he answered all my questions. When getting a quote from other online companies they just gave me a quote with no details to why my premium would be so high. Chris however explained my situation and I got a better understanding of why and how long I would have to pay what I have to pay. Plus he gave me several options and dates to pay. Thanks Chris!
Adriana Garcia-Trevino was very knowledgeable and helped me tremendously with all my insurance needs. This is the absolute worst insurance company I have ever dealt with! One of their clients hit my car on Saturday. They are closed on the weekend so I had to wait until Monday. I have called and left several messages but no one will return my call. Four days later I am finally forced to get a rental on my own because I have to go to work sometime.
Liz took care of me and made the process very easy by sending me a text message to provide proof of insurance and drivers license. Gave me the best rest for liability and was patient! When I️ called back the next day to enroll, I️ called her directly since she offered her direct line and took care of me within 15 minutes or less! Wonderful lady!
At first I had so many hoops to jump through, but then my agent, Linda Patino, helped me to clear everything up. She was beyond helpful. I was able to get a discount to lower my monthly payment to the lowest quote I had gotten from any insurance, and I was able to set up easy auto-payments. By the way: somebody give Linda Patino a raise!!!!!
MY CAR WAS TOTALED AND THIS INSURANCE WALKED RIGHT ALONG WITH ME THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS. THEY PUT ME ON A RENTAL, AND EVEN EXTENDED MY RENTAL SERVICE. MY INSURANCE COST HAS ACTUALLY GONE DOWN 40$ IN TWO YEARS. I AM SURE THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT WOULD AGREE WITH ME, THIS IS A GREAT INSURANCE COMPANY.

Horrible company! They ripped me off. I ensured my car with them, when I realized the bad deal that I was getting, I changed to a better company. Gainsco charged me for the whole 6 months even if I was with them just for 6 days! I wish I had the resources to sue them. Worst company ever.
Gainsco was there during my time of need. I have experienced nothing but excellent customer service from all of the representatives that I have talked with. I just renewed my policy. That is the ultimate sign of customer satisfaction in my book. I give them a BIG FIVE STARS :)

I been with GAINSCO for 9 years I was paying $287 dollars each month. .after I cancel they send me a bill for penalties for $217 ..be very careful with them they are thieves...after paying on time for 9 years with no claims.and they do this to me..
I am a producer for Gainsco and can truly say it is a pleasure to work with them. When we have an issue in the agency they are always very helpful and courteous! Their rates are comparable to the other companies I write business for.
I must say this was my first time ever getting insured and the woman I spoke with this morning made this experience fast , smooth and all around great ! Definitely the best quote ive seen since looking, I would recommend them !!!

Only open a few hours M-F, hold time is at least 20 min usually put through to a rep exactly at 20 min wait or longer, Claims reps do not return calls even called the Claims Supervisor no call returned. Horrible customer service.
I highly recommend Gainsco! I had the privilege of having CJ help me become a member. He was sincere, and patient. Without him i wouldnt have gotten this excellent price for my new car. I most definitely appreciate it Gainsco!

This is a fraud insurance company. They lied to me and said my car was totaled and then changed their mind and repaired my car with cheap salvage parts! Their unprofessional and dishonest. Stay away from this company!

Wish I could give you zero. The longer you stay with Gainsco, the more you have to pay. Beware, these folks are crooks. Started paying 52 a month. They increase it to 72 without notice.
If you get hit by one of there clients, get an attorney ASAP. They say there going to fix car then a week later say dont have enough proof so the cancel the claim and deny liability.
I have been a policy holder with Gainsco for years and I absolutely love it. The prices are great and I can always give them a call with any questions or concerns that I may have.
