Horrible, Horrible HORRIBLE experience dealing with these people. The people in customer service are very nice, however, the agents are awful and the managers are just as bad. The agent I dealt with was incredibly rude and talked very down to me while I was dealing with her. Their client hit me and yet I was the one treated like garbage. Since she was so rude and I was tired of being talked down to I requested to deal with a manager. The manager was nice and my check was sent out, but they sent it to the incorrect address - even though the address is correct on every document they should have AND they verified it. Okay, mistakes happen. Then they overnight a check to me, but instead of sending it out priority since THEY made the mistake I am sitting here at my house and have been all day waiting on the delivery and all I can be told is that it will be delivered by 7PM. I have been sitting here since 8AM. Their client hit ME and yet I am the one that has been inconvenienced. I work in customer service and this is NO WAY to treat your customers. No wonder they have horrible reviews.

They dropped us after having them for years- home and vehicles. So we hurriedly contacted our agent and found another insurance company to insure our home and 6 vehicles. Our new insurance company automatically took their premiums out of our bank acct like we set up and then found out that Indiana Farmers mutual insurance company took out our home insurance from our escrow making our escrow in the negative. Had to wait on them to send our money back to be put back into escrow. Now TODAY 7/29/17, found that Indiana Farmers mutual insurance took out more than $470 from our bank account when they are no longer our insurance company making us short on being able to make our mortgage pmt on July 1st. You dropped us so quit messing up my finances. This is a mess.

Very disappointed with the service. The claim that was in their hands, did not seem to be of very much importance because I continuously got brushed off by the rap that was handling my claim. I very rarely was able to get in contact with him over the phone nor will he return any kind of messages that were sent his way. I was without a vehicle for a while and again as I stated they did not take the seriousness of it into consideration. Nor did it seem like that they were even willing to try to help in The manner that they could have.

Rates are low because technology is in the dark ages, and folks on the phone are stuck in 1980 mindset, agents in the field sound like robots when asking detailed questions.
