The Rockton community had a "too close to home" scare recently when an asphalt plant company proposed to set up shop near our homes, businesses, and schools. Once word traveled throughout the community, the residents banded together to protest the proposal in order to protect the health and safety of our neighbors. Brendan Caver, a "born leader", took matters in to his own hands by using his gift of knowledge and research to prepare for the multiple, yet exhausting fights “on the stand”. He was extremely passionate during this fight against the proposed asphalt plant and the community was able to see how invested Mr. Caver gets when he is given a task to complete. Brendan became quite the bulldog using his legal background, intelligence, and his quick wit to represent our community, piecing each argument together like a well-oiled machine. After many months of fighting the proposal, Brendan Caver persisted and proved he is a force to be reckoned with. He won the battle for the Rockton community.
