About 9 months ago I was arrested on false domestic violence charges by a regularly violent and abusive girlfriend who came after me with a large knife and claimed I tried to strangle her to death. The charges I faced had possible career-ending consequences. After a Google search and calls to a number of attorneys, I spoke to Brian Fishman and was immediately impressed by the nature and depth of the questions he posed. The other lawyers I spoke to seemed as though they were offering me lip service by making promises with little information in order to get me into their office. I got no such feeling from Brian. Brian exhibited great strategic skill and negotiating tactics when working with the assistant district attorney assigned to my case. After the ADA reviewed the evidence and spoke to the “victim,” Brian was able to arrange for the charges to be dropped in exchange for a fantastic plea deal that will allow me to expunge my record as though this ordeal never happened with nothing more than a year on probation. While Brian was eager and ready to go to trial, I chose to accept the deal to avoid risking permanent damage to my career by someone who demonstrated she is willing to lie even in the face of concrete evidence contradicting her story. Throughout every step of the legal process Brian was nothing short of meticulous and professional. Having zero experience facing criminal charges, I had a million questions and barely any clue where to start, but Brian was willing to spend the time to explain to me the nuances of the criminal justice system. His prompt and thorough responses to my phone calls and emails invariably left me satisfied with their detail. In addition, the uncertainty of my future left me emotionally distraught and in a horrid place mentally, but he was always there to counsel me through the process. While I was impressed by Brian’s legal expertise, his compassion stood out in a tremendous fashion. Brian genuinely understood the hardship that I was dealing with and was nothing short of sympathetic even when I would talk his ear off about seemingly trivial matters. I strongly feel as though we established more than a professional relationship and while I pray I will never need to retain his services in the future I will continue to keep his card in my wallet and recommend him to anyone I know in need of a great attorney.

Brian Fishman of The Fishman Firm was a Godsend to my family, he came highly recommended and I soon saw why. My daughter got into some trouble in the summer time. She is a very good girl and was raised right. She hung out with the wrong people and got into some trouble that could have mess her up for life. Brian sat us down and assured us he would help her out. Brian is a very caring person you can feel he really cares about his clients. He took time to explain every detail of the case and how he will work the case. Brian keeps his word he did exactly everything he said he would do. His fees was exactly what he said it would be from the beginning of the case all the way to the end, he even help us out with a payment plan. He showed up on time to every hearing and explained what was going to happen and what we needed to do. My family was very nervous as we was not use to being in court Brain was always there calming us down. He made himself available to us any time we needed to talk or needed any information. Brian was able the get the charges reduce down. Now my daughter has a chance to redeem herself and be successful in life. I thank God we met Brian and we see him as a friend and not just a lawyer. I rarely take time to write a review but it would have been an injustice if I did not. If you need a good OK lawyer then don’t call Brian but if you need a great caring Lawyer that will hold your down and fight and give 100% of himself then you have the right guy. The day that I called Mr. Fishman was the worst day of my life. I was just discharged from hospital before I was arrested, and charged with assault and recklessly endangering another person. My preliminary hearing was couple days away, and I was 4 months pregnant, with no support system in the city. I had no idea what to do. Mr. Fishman was really nice on the phone, he calmed me down, listened to my story, told me everything’s gonna be alright. and set up a meeting on the next day. He is very professional, he knows exactly what he is doing, he replies emails, texts and return calls right away. He answered all my questions and explained the whole situation to me, kept me informed the whole time. The most important is the result he got for me, after he communicated with the DA’s office, he got them to agree to withdraw all charges before the preliminary hearing! So if you want a trustworthy, knowledgeable, caring attorney, Fishman is the one. He would bring you.the best results. I certainly hope I will not need a Criminal Defence lawyer in the future, but if I do, I will hire no one other than Mr. Fishman. Brian Fishman is a honest, sincere and incredibly thorough attorney who stands by us right from initial conversation and all the way through the closure of case.
