Extremely rude receptionist, border line racist actually. They made a big mistake and sent me a clients paperwork. I tried to call to tell them they were sending pretty personal information about some stranger to me. The woman that answers the phone does not care, not her problem. so now I have a strangers social security number and know they are filing for ch.13. Not only do they not care I randomly have this info, she was extremely rude when I was going out of my way to tell them I had something by mistake. If I ever need a chapter 13 lawyer, I would not use Hurst, his employees are very careless.

I can’t say anything negative about Hurt’s Law Firm, but I can say that the lawyer, Ms. Shirley, who represented me was rude, impersonal and didn’t follow due process in her representation of my case. It’s just insulting to me as a human being and a consumer that when paying for a service that you are treated with no value. Filing bankruptcy is not a free service, you pay for a lawyer to look out for your best interest, especially when you as a customer is keeping up you end.

Mr. Hurst was very nice and the staff was caring and professional. My situation was kind of complicated but they were able to straighten it all out. I had IRS problems, a repossession, and a garnishment about to happen. They got all that stopped and now I have just one monthly payment. And my creditors stopped calling me once my case was filed. Feels like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.
