I had Brown do a yearly maintenance on my A/C unit last month. They have a 2 for 1 special on this "service". The old saying.....Their are no free lunches" applies. While I believe the tech knew what he was doing, he was more savey in trying to sell other products for exorbinate prices. I ended up paying the $70 service fee plus $180 for a $8.00 run capacitor. Hard sell to buy a $50 LED light for $800 was rejected. My condensor was only cleaned with garden hose, no chemicals and the inside was full of leaves...but never cleaned either. Seems like the cheap service price is just to get them in the door......so they can bend you over your A/C unit! Disapointed owner.

Hello, my name is Phil from Brown Heating and Cooling, Inc. This is in response to a post by Susan Moss, whose company sells a/c units and moved into the office location next door to us. On that day in question, Ms. Moss had blocked our bays in the back and was rude and obnoxious. Ms. Moss is not a customer of Brown Heating and Cooling, Inc., they are a competitor that moved in next door. We have been in business since 1967 and this company owned by Ms. Moss and her husband sell small A/C units online. Google should not let competitors post reviews and I have already contacted Google to remove this review. Thank you.

The company charges $89.99 to drive to your home for the service call and then they charge another $89,99 per hour. They were at my home for 20 minutes and I was charged the 89.99 to have them arrive at my house and then another $89.99 for the 20 minutes. I think the first $89.99 should cover the first hour. Why should I have to pay for them to drive to my house????? Total rip off! UNFAIR PRICING!

Rudest, most ignorant, owner I have ever met. Owner cursed at my children. Wanting to know who the F$%& they are as we were moving in. Blocked our entrance to our unit saying he owned the road. (It is a Business condo the roads are common grounds.) He would come out yelling at me saying he owned the parking space and then run back inside telling me to talk to his hand.

Tried to take advantage of my elderly mother by overselling her a 3.5 ton 16 SEER AC unit that included replacing the duct work and concrete slab. Her ducts are clean, and the slab is solid and level. She lives in a 2 bedroom mobile home. We went with another company and got it replaced with a 2.5 ton 14 SEER unit for about $2,000 less, and it works just fine.

Whew, where to start? A whole new system was put in by Browns A/C The compressor went after about two years. Browns answer? We can do nothing. ANOTHER A/C company put a new compresser in for $300, it was still under warranty, (not the labor). The shoddy ( very shoddy air handler in the garage leaked and turned black with mold. My advice,,,,RUN.

I had a maintenance appointment and was delighted to have the service tech arrive on time. He was very knowledgeable,courteous and answered my questions for filter replacement, drainage etc. Best of all, the price is right and I have now taken out a maintenance policy with Brown.

We purchased a new air conditioner from this company in March 2010 and it has broken down 3 times. Service is mediocre at best. I would not recommend this company to an enemy. This is what we get for supporting a local business rather than going with a well known corporation.

I am very happy with my experience with Brown. They answered on the first call and had someone over to us in 25 minutes. Aaron was our tech and he was very polite and had our air up and working within half an hour. I would use them again for future maintenance.

Technician cleaned my a/c unit like no other company did before. He took apart my outside unit and actually cleaned that unit with a chemical leaving it cleaner than it has looked for years. I actually think its working better also.
