As a Canadian working professional in the United States, I faced a serious issue in which may have lead to deportation and loss of my United States work rights. Never having utilized lawyer services in the past, I was hesitant and fairly nervous to not only visit the offices of Maney and Gordon, but rely solely on their word and guidance as my future relied heavily on their advice. Immediately when I contacted their offices via telephone, secretary Catalina offered her sincere sympathy and was able to make an appointment the same day within hours, as she recognized my situation required immediate assistance. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by name and taken to speak with attorney Shanti and her assistant Melissa. Both remained extremely professional and offered reliable options for me to chose from based on my issue. Moving forward with their highest recommended option, I immediately felt a sense of relief. For the following week, we worked together gathering all materials required and Shanti was able to quickly present me with the final documents I needed. My issue was then resolved and I am here today happily working in the United States. Considering my situation was extremely last minute, I offer my sincere thanks to everyone at the firm, especially Catalina, Beverly, Melissa, Joe and of course Shanti for recognizing the immediate need of my situation and working right into the start of her vacation to ensure I had the documents I needed. I must mention never having a situation such as this occur in the past, I was extremely nervous and worried for my future however everyone at Maney and Gordon stepped in and made me feel more confident as well as supported, including attorney Joe who was not assigned to my case however made it a point to get involved and went out of his way to offer support. In saying this, I highly recommend Maney and Gordon Immigration Attorneys for any (and especially last minute) immigration issues as not only is everyone extremely knowledgeable and professional but very supportive.
