On Sunday 7-6-14 City Furniture lured me in with their "Same Day Delivery" promotion and the scam continued downhill from there. After I purchased my $1,300 bedroom set from Jasmine, I was told that the Same Day Delivery was not available because it was full for the evening. We agreed that I would call back once I had my work schedule for the latter half of the following week, and she explained that I needed to call the day before my preferred delivery. On Tuesday I called back to schedule my delivery for Wednesday, and was only able to leave a message for Jasmine. My call was not returned and I had to call back to reach her. I was told that they were unable to fit me into the schedule on Wednesday, and she also asked me to make a 3 hour elevator reservation in my building for her delivery driver. On Wednesday morning I called back, having reserved the elevators in anticipation of a Thursday delivery. Jasmine again informed me that they were unable to deliver on Thursday due to a full schedule. I informed Jasmine that this trend was unacceptable and that she needed to correct it. She did not offer any accommodations and without any other options I decided to reverse my transaction. I will give Jasmine credit for being happy to reimburse me. It seems that they are very familiar with this situation as it appears to be company practice to sell more furniture than they can deliver. Word to the wise, spend your money with Rooms to Go if you would like to actually receive the furniture you purchase. Apparently this type of customer service has earned Jasmine a Management Trainee opportunity, so you can look forward to this type of effort as you deal with both management and floor people. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE IF YOU PLAN TO USE THE FURNITURE YOU PURCHASE!!!

We are from Canada, we purchased all our condo furniture at City Furniture. what a mistake. Our dining table warped in the middle, the table legs are cracked. We purchased a sectional, their so called leather is peeling. We also purchased a leather sofa bed that also is peeling. Mind you our bedroom furniture is not falling apart yet. We purchased this furniture about three years ago, but I contacted City Furniture after the table was falling apart about after our 2nd visit to florida. which was about 4 months later. Every time we come to florida which is about every 4 months I always go to city furniture to remind them of my experience, they dont seem to care. We are from Canada, I have bought a lot of furniture, 1st the furniture has not fallen apart so soon and if there ever was a problem, the stores would stand behind their merchandise. I guess this store does not care whether their customers are satisfied or not. I guess there will be the 1st time but not the 2nd for everyone. Never again. FURNITURE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO FALL APART SO EASILY, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS NOT BEing USED REGULARLY ( WE JUST VACATION IN FLORIDA) COULD YOU IMAGINE IF WE LIVED THERE ALL YEAR ROUND. EVERY YEAR WE WOULD NEED NEW FURNITURE. (WOULD BE LUCKY IF IT WOULD BE A YEAR.) PS -I HOPE CITY FURNITURE REVIEWS ALL THESE REVIEWS. I obtained a vacation condo in Ft Lauderdale in Oct of 2009. After making a number of furniture purchases from Macys, City Furniture, Ikea and more, I can honestly say that City Furniture was the one vendor I would not buy from again. For starters, be aware that if you receive defective merchandise, they will charge you to have someone come out and look at it. I obtained both beds from City Furniture, both were King Koil. Within 2 weeks, the King size King Koil mattress sunk in so far, it looked as if an automobile had been sitting on it for 3 years. City Mattress informed me that they would charge me $49 dollars to have an inspector come out and review it. From what I took of this and the conversation with the service rep, this was just another way to grab $50 more dollars and that it was going to be a almost impossible to get a new one. On the flip side, a leather sofa that I purchased from Macys ended up having a defective cushion. Macys promptly sent someone out that looked at, agreed it was defective and ordered a new one on the spot. I have 4 homes and all have pillow top mattress in every room. These were the first King Koils and the last. Stay away from this brand! Without a doubt, I would never buy from City Furniture again.

I found City Furniture to have a good approach to their in-store sales. The salesman greets you at the door and describes where to find what you are looking for. They make themselves available for help "if needed" and do not follow you around the store trying to convince you why you would like the gaudy ornate Victorian furniture piece you happened to walk by. If you need help, they are there when asked and are quite knowledgeable. I would have given it 5 stars, but they lose one for the way they portray their "Leather" furniture. There are different grades and kinds of leather, however, City Furniture in their marketing hype make it quite clear that they are trying to hide the facts about the leather and what kind is on what piece. I would like to point out that Oliver Krasso was extremely knowledgeable about the different pieces we had questions about, was patient with us and was the main reason we decided to buy the sofa we ended up with. Kudos to Oliver!

I visited the store and looked around liked some of the sofas but not enough to buy. Really was looking for a striped sofa which basically does not exist. Googled striped sofa-no real hits. One day I noticed City Furniture appeared with my dream sofa on Facebook. I loved it but not real sure I wanted to order online. Decided to go back to the shop where previously they were so helpful. Had the sales rep look up my sofa-ordered it and had it shipped to my house. It was exactly what I dreamed of having and the sales associate made it so easy-set up my financing and got the whole delivery set up. The delivery was a dream too. Gave me enough notice to go to work and meet them back at my house. I will definitely return when I need furniture again. My previous experience with a competitor was not even close to this-City was very professional, clean and helpful. Whoever does the link into my facebook gets my vote too!

I bought a king bed, 2 bar stools, 5-pc dinette and a patio swing a month ago. First, the sales person on US1-Ft Lauderdale store, Seymone, was very lovely - she is very helpful and patient despite my 1001 questions. The delivery persons were hard-working, professional, punctual and they made sure you are satisfied before they left. All the items arrived on the same day - the day after the purchase was made. I appreciate the efficiency! The white tall back king bed is such a statement in my bedroom contrasting the dark grayish purple color accent wall. The Rattan Patio Swing got the most compliments as everybody just love sitting in it overseeing the swimming pool. It is sturdy and well-made. I strongly recommend City Furniture! Give me a VIP pass with perks like free delivery & a deep discount - I promise I will visit more frequently. 5 out of 5 stars

In 2003, I went to City Furniture FLL and purchased a complete home furnishings set - bedroom, living room and kitchen. The service was great, the delivery and set up easy and fast. Since that time, I always went to City Furniture for my household needs. Recently purchased a new home, and needed a new look. Lyle, my original sales person, is still there. He set me up with a unique and classy living room/dining room combination. Lyle knows how to put the rooms together and still keep the price within my budget. The delivery was not quite as uneventful as the numerous times before, but when I called the store, Manager Bartko answered and quickly found a solution and turned the experience into another positive City Furniture sale.

I had a wonderful experience with Dominic, he was always welcoming. I believe I went to the store about five times, he always listened and made my day. I also went to rooms to go the same number of times drawing up different ways my furniture would and could look. The final day Thursday I went to Rooms to go what the salesman lead me to believe was different now. I went back to Dominic everything he promised he DELIVERED. Wonderful sales person gave me space and time to get ALL I needed ALL I wanted. Please share this with him I think he is a wonderful asset to your business. My husband and I went into the Ft. Lauderdale store Sat. Night. We haf been looking for a new sofa and love seat for about 2 months visiting various Furniture showrooms. After all that looking around my husband decided he wanted the same couch as his friend had which he had purchased at City Furniture. He showed me the couch on the showroom floor, I loved it and we purchased it. The absolute best part of that whole experience was a wonderful, helpful salesperson Jennifer who happens to be the sales manager. Lucky us. With extreme patienc and a smile on her face throughout she helped me pick out some accessories for our home. We are anxiously awaiting the delivery of our couches this week.

Jeff is an amazing guy!! My experience with City Furniture has been great thus far and I highly recommend asking for Jeff if you go into this location. My items were delivered on time and the delivery men called me in advance to ensure I would be home. When the delivery men arrived they set up the furniture and cleaned up but one of my items had a scratch and they gave me several options and he even gave me a few tips. I ended up keeping my scratched mirror and City Furniture gave me a nice store credit. I would definitely recommend them and I love my bedroom set! Thank you Jeff you were amazing!!

BUYER BEWARE! Low quality furniture! Arrived with stains and warped pieces. Two guys assembled the furniture and only one side was assembled. Almost fell apart and landed on my foot when applying very little weight. RETURN POLICY is not at all helpful. In this case an exchange does nothing because I will still have to deal with CITY FURNITURE. I was excited to purchase this bed frame but, I am now beside myself wondering how I ended up with a halfway assembled, stained, warped, and downright dangerous piece of furniture. This whole experience has been terrible! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This location is great!! We have been adding onto our patio set for the past year piece and we have been dealing with Jamie the GM of the store who we just happened to get our first time in the store and he has been great. We were not pressure to make the purchase that day and asked him to email us when he was having the next sale and we would come in to make the purchase and he did and also personally called. He has kept in touch with us personally on email for the past year and we have purchased 3 patio sets from him. Great Customer Service at this store.

The Manager Trainee Johnathan Edman was very professional, helpful and friendly. He was also very knowledgeable about the products and helped me tremendously to select the proper pillow based on my sleeping position (very important for me) and also recommended some excellent accessories for the bed. He also returned all my calls and responded to my emails in a timely manner. The prices of the furniture were reasonable and the quality decent. I got exactly the furniture that I wanted!

My patio bar table and stools is perfect and looks great! I looked at every furniture store selling patio furniture and City Furniture had the best product for my space. The customer service was exemplary as well as the delivery service. Everything arrived on time and afterwards I received a call from the store to check that I was completely satisfied. From past experience, this does not occur with other companies. Thank you for an excellent furniture experience!
