TERRIBLE! I was a member for 30 years. I let them know I was travelling abroad for three months so I could use my credit card...then while away my card was declined, NW had sent a new card to my house and as I was over 3000 miles away I could not activate it. So I was stuck n a foreign country with NO money! Did they tell me a new card was going to be sent while I was gone? No. What was NW response to my sitaution? Sorry, nothing we can do, sorry you are stuck without money because of our error. Not good! Avoid at all costs!

Signing up for their online banking portal is absolutely hellish. They have put in place an agonizingly difficult process full of stone walls and completely unreasonable "security" measures (which have the net effect of denying access for the real account holder). The customer no-service call center places you on a "forever" hold, which is understandable because there are probably many more disgruntled clients trying to find solutions to endless problems. Horrible!

The Products offered at this credit unit are designed for realtors. I love that there is no fees and the team provides amazing service and really cares about its customers. I have gone through a lot of banks, but this credit union experience was second to none. Being in the customer service field I always that people do not always care about being thorough in explaining different products and services, but my rep really swept me off my feet.

Acts worse than a bank charging outrageous fees, long holds on deposited funds, and long wait times using their call center. Forget about calling after hours if your debit card is compromised. My USAA account is ten fold better with no silly overdraft fees to snatch $35 dollars. The "credit union" now has open membership with no membership requirements. Buyer beware on this pseudo want to be bank!

Most of my friends bank locally. I have the pleasure of belonging to Realtors Federal Credit Union in Virginia. The One thing I appreciate the most is the unparalleled customer service. The Mobile Banking App is a close second. Also because they are on the East Coast I am able to call at 5AM and reach a Member Service Representative and get help with anything and answers for everything.

the worst credit union you can think of they added $1400 on my loan for what they call advance insurance but my car has insurance. and they had me on phone for an hour no one couldnt really help me
