The initial estimate was done by Jay and included a detailed breakdown of tasks and the cost for each. This allowed a very good understanding of the work to be done (some estimates are just bottom line). The cost from Arrow was competitive. To the best of my knowledge all the work was completed in a high quality manner with no hassles. The crews were friendly and were careful to use plastic on the floors and use a window for bringing in insulation through the window rather than through the entry door and rooms. It took three visits by Arrow to complete all the work and each visit was by a different crew. In both the second and third visits, the crew did not seem to have had detailed feedback from the previous crew. One thing that I should not have had to do was this: I personally had to review with each crew certain tasks that had not been completed previously that they were not aware of. Once this was done they graciously acknowledged and completed the work to be done. In my opinion although it seems like a common sense thing for an owner to do (to track the completiion of individual tasks) it should not be necessary. For example if a less attentive owner had been involved some of the tasks may have been missed.

A note of appreciation for the excellent whole-house insulation job your crew did on my 60+ year old house. The workers showed up on time (actually, early) got right to work and didn’t stop until the job was complete and had thoroughly cleaned up. All of your workers were pleasant, professional and courteous, a combination of qualities not always found in the trades today. I am very satisfied with every aspect of the job and will gladly recommend Arrow to anyone needing their home insulated. Thanks, too, to Kimberly Bedwell, who handled the scheduling and paperwork quickly, efficiently and professionally. I also appreciate the way you handled the preliminary inspection, the quick quotation and timely response to my e-mails.

I had a local contractor (the biggest in Whatcom County) come out to give an estimate. He was overwhelmed by the scope and difficulty of insulating an 1885 era house which had been added onto. Ultimately, he refused to even offer a bid, saying it was too difficult. Arrow came through. Not only did they find the challenge beyond their scope but they assisted with PSE rebates for compliance.They are only one of 2 PSE preferred contractors in the Seattle area...but I never heard from the other..they came out to a remote location (Lummi Island) which most contractors will not do. Very pleased with their customer service. I highly recommend them!

Alexander and Daniel came to my home today to put some insulation into my home. They were very professional, courteous, and what I really appreciated most is that they very effectively communicated the steps they had taken to correct he fact that this area had never been properly insulated. I have dealt with quite a few contractors with this recent home purchase and some have been unprofessional, totally unable or refuse to communicate, and their knowledge and performance lacking but it was a pleasure dealing with Alexander and Daniel. I would definitely recommend this company to a friend.

The estimator showed up on schedule, was friendly, and after inspection provided a detailed breakdown of what was found. (I had inspected the attic myself and understood what his concerns were). We chose to do part but not all of the estimate due to budget concerns and they were still willing to break up the estimate to conform to our needs. Work was scheduled performed in 1 week and the 2 workers showed up on time. After work was finished, workers provided before & after pics of areas of repair. The next morning we could feel the benefit of the insulation in the rooms we chose to have done.

Crew showed up early and eager to work, job turned out to be more difficult than was expected but they took the challenge and did an outstanding job with smiles on their faces. Our 40 year old neglected crawl space looks as nice as the photo on the advertisement. Very neat and tidy. Having been a contractor for 20+ years we understand some of the difficulties crews encounter. Arrow is fortunate to have the employees that did our job. Excellent work. This was a HORRIBLE job. A 40 year old double wide mobile home that has had a rat problem in the crawlspace insulation for probably most of these years. In ONE long day the 2 guys pulled out all the old VERY smelly insulation and liner, sprayed for odors, sealed several holes, sealed the ducts, new insulation, new liner, new duct insulation, ground vapor liner, and cleaned up beautifully. Without a single complaint in such a terrible and smelly working environment. And all this work for the smaller of 3 bids. Definitely a 5 star review.

Angel,Eugenio, & Alexander did a great job removing old insulation, vapor bearer, and sealing up crawl space. 6 months later after other contractors finished their work, Raferel and Eddy completed the rest. They did the walls and covered walls ceiling and plumbing and ductwork with white WMP VR-R for dust surpression. They worked non stop and did an excellent job!
