We visited to Kirkland branch Saturday and met with Nidhi. We have a toddler and another kid and difficult to go any other time. We were told rudely that she cannot do the simple notarization of 3 pages and we have to call and make an appointment. She said she is waiting for 2 other ppl who made the appointment but they were not there. While we were chatting to her college and arguing, she just sat there staring at the monitor and then escaped to the bathroom. There is nowhere in the website that says we need to take an appointment. She is the worst bank employee we met in my lifetime. This person is worse than the entitled government employees I have seen in India.

Overall First Tech Credit Union is an okay place to do your banking. They really suffer from inconsistent customer service issues. Sometimes they are okay but other times they treat their customers like dirt and you need to have a chat with the manger to see and ask what is going on. Same with their customer contact center it’s really hit and miss. Since they started merging with a Credit Union from the Bay area their customer service has really been very poor.

ive never had a problem with this branch except for one time when I got an autoloan and needed to go into a branch, however, in their defense the autoloan was a result of a death in the family, and the details behind it were somewhat confusing; in my honest opinion they handled the confusion professionally and very well.

Excellent service. Remortgaging was a breeze and we got a great deal. Always get my questions answered and rarely wait very long. I fled BoA and their always off customer service and was so happy to find First Tech.
