Today we had a significant leak of our refrigorator water filter feature. We shut off the water to our home but we called Village Plumbing to send out someone to move out our built in refrigerator so that the water value could be shut off and water service restored to the rest of our home. Th e kind lady that answered the phone said we needed a pair of plumbers even though I described in detail that the appliance needed to be moved. The very kind plumbers arrived and did not know how to move the refrigerator out. They stayed for two or so hours. They called their office and asked for the appliance repairman to come to help. The office called me to say that all three men were needed and it would be another hour or more due to traffic as the appliance man was in Katy. NEVER did anyone look up the appliance installation manual for my Kitchenaid built in refrigerator. So after I got the call saying ti would be another hour, I got the manual, read how to install the frig, reversed the installation instructions, had my husband turn 4 tiny screws that dropped the wheals down on the frig and he and i gently and easily rolled the frig out and turned off the water valve. I promptly called Village Plumbing to tell the that we fixed it ourselves and to stop the men in route. They did not stop the two plumbers and appliance repair man who showed up at our home only find that we read the manual and easily moved the frig.

I have used Village Plumbing in the past and always found them expensive, but they did good work and I thought all plumbing companies were expensive so I recently called them to fix several items in my townhouse. Their plumber walked through the house and "priced" each repair at $300 for 4 of the items and $275. for 1. In each instance the plumber focused on the stated price of the repair rather than the repair itself. The total bill would have been approximately $1400.00. When I asked the price of their per hour labor charge I was told by their plumber that he did not know the labor charge that they charged item by item at a "flat rate". I told Village Plumbing I could not afford their prices and contacted another plumbing company do the work. Two of the items took 2 minutes and 5 minutes respectively to fix and the third item the plumber said did not need the work Village Plumbing had said was necessary. The unnecessary repair saved $300.00. The last two items were fixed and with a total parts bill of $45.00. The total bill was $218,00 as opposed to the approximate $14000.00 Village Plumbing was attempting to charge. I will not put a name to this behavior. You may choose you own.

Chris L came to our home to troubleshoot our dishwasher. He was very friendly and poliet. Without asking he covered his shoes with plastic footwear before entering the house. He explained what Village procedures were and kept us informed of what he was doing. He made some recommendations for changing the soap we were using to get our dishes cleaner. We were very lucky and no repairs were needed. ** Because my appointment was on a Thursday Village Plumbing has "Thrifty Thursday" which means there is no trip charge on that day. So our bill was zero. I would recommend Village Plumbing. They have a 5 star rating and it is well deserved. RJS

Unprofessional customer service!! I got a new water heater from Village Plumber. They scheduled with the city to inspect my new water heater this morning. I will have to pay one other $70 if i miss the scheduled inspection, I waited at home from 8am to 4pm nobody shows up. I called them 3 times at 1:30pm,2:45 and 3:50pm and they told me that the inspector will be in the previous 2 calls and the last call they told me that the city is closed and they have to wait till Monday to contact the city to see what happened. Sure village has no control on the city, but why do not you let me contact with inspector directly? Simple sorry does not work.

I have used Village Plumbing in the past. Robert R. was wonderful. I had a couple of plumbing issues - leaking faucets on my washer, bathroom faucets in the house and needed the kitchen faucet replaced. He took the time to explain things to me and did a great job. I felt like he was honest and was not going to "sell" me or service something that did not need to be done. I also learned the importance of draining the water heater at least once a year! I would highly recommend Robert R and Village Plumbing. Btw, Village Plumbing provided same day service.

Jeff M. was excellent in his explanations of my AC situation. He was honest in his presentation and recommendation for getting my central AC up and running again. Although, in the end, I hired a different company to solve my problem, my decision had nothing to do with the quality of service that Village Plumbing and Home Services -- and specifically Jeff M. -- offered. I have used Village for other services in the past and have been impressed with the prompt quality service I received. Further, I appreciate the respect the team demonstrates to the customer.

Wasted time and money. I called these guys because the are "reputable" from what I could tell. I told the person when called the exact problem and that the backflow valve on my sprinkler needed to be replaced and bring the valve with them. They sent a tech, he was about 2 hours late. Then, he proceeded to tell me they have a flat rate of about $1000 to replace a $70 valve. WHAT????? I paid for their visit for nothing. They could have just told me this over the phone. They will never get a call from me again. AVOID!

I called to price check on a simple replacement of a faucet in the kitchen, which Amazon charges $124 and my handy man eventually did it for $100. They insisted to send someone over for assessment without telling me that there will be a charge of $60 for a trip that I did not want. Their estimate for replacing the faucet was $400! I contacted them numerous time asking whether they can wave the $60 but got no response. A company that values $60 more than the customer is not worth doing business with.

We have used Village Plumbing for years. We have always had superb service. When we have a problem, they come promptly. They are honest and fair. Most recently we had a problem which was quickly solved by Scott G. While at our house, he also checked other plumbing issues since the house is starting to show its age. Suggestions were very appropriate and we chose to proceed with that work. It was accomplished in a timely manner. It is a pleasure to have competent, friendly people to care for our house.

A plumber came the next day after leaving a message over night. We could not turn off the water in the shower since the manifold had been stripped. The plumber was able to fix the main problem but to repair the whole problem with new hardware and plate would cost $1600. He was able to switch off the water to the shower so we could have water in the rest of the house. He explained how to fix it to my husband. Our shower is 46 years old. My husband will attempt the project after Christmas.

Very prompt and nice. Diagnosed the problem (a friend had already looked and told me what it should be). Patiently answered my questions. I did, however, get sticker shock at the bill. I did not expect cheap, but 500 for 45 minutes of service (15 of which was doing paperwork). He also listed another cheaper price but did not explain the difference other than to get the cheaper prices you had to pay 99. I hope his fix worked and I am saved from getting a new water heater.

Abraham M., plumber and his helper, David C. were wonderful. They came to our house, promptly on a cold, misty and miserable day to replace our 10+ year old water heater. Our house was built in 1929 and the water heater is actually outside of the house in a tiny shed. The shed is very small and icky, but the gentlemen got the job done. They were polite, efficient and patiently answered all my questions. I will definitely request Abraham M. in the future. M.C.O & K.M.O

Anthony was the plumber that serviced my residence. Specifically I had him check the bathroom sink because it had been leaking. He assessed the problem, provided an estimate and once I approved, he fixed the problem. When I left several hours later, I checked to see if it had started leaking again and it had not. The area was dry and leak free! I am very pleased with the service and Anthony was very professional and pleasant to work with. I would use this company again.

They came out and assured me the pipe that had broken was a metal pipe and they would have to run all New piping. He quoted me 2,853$ yes 2 thousand 8 hundred dollars folks. My roommate told her ex what was going on as I was being denied credit and he said let me look. So he did and him and his son fixed the problem for less than 20$. Yes less than 20 dollars. There were no metal pipes that needed replacing. Watch these people cause they will lie to your face!!!

About 3 months ago we had an issue at our event venue with the toilets. Abraham came out at 8 oclock on a Saturday night and did not leave until I had use of my toilets for my wedding guests.. The next day they were out here repairing the problem. Then he had to come back out last week because a pipe broke. He came out here as soon as he could after all that rain and we were fixed up within three days. He and his guys were great! Highly recommend Abraham.

A few months ago in the summer, Village installed a new heat pump unit for me. All seemed fine until the weather reached lower 50s a couple of weeks ago. My regular repair guy came out discovered that the installer had hooked up the wires for air conditioning but did not hook up the wires for heat. This caused the unit to malfunction leaving me without heat. I use Village because I have faith in their integrity. This was not typical Village work.

They charged me for a quote and then came up with the brilliant idea that both water heaters needed to be replaced when I was only having trouble with one. These guys are salesmen trying to take advantage of you and your zip code. I had the master plumber come out from another company that was recommended to me. $200 later, my problem was solved. It is very disappointing to see them try to rip people off. My neighbor had a similar experience.

Best service of any kind I ever had in my home! My technician answered my myriad of questions with detailed precision and patience. I learned all kinds of helpful things about my kitchen appliances I had never known before. I was treated with such courtesy and high level of professionalism. When the job was done, everything was left looking spic an span. This is definitely a company that focuses on customer care and satisfaction.

Walter was the most professional, thorough and knowledgeable air conditioner specialist I have ever had work in my home. His work was excellent and completely explained. He even detailed the maintenance we could deal with ourselves during the next year and offered to set up an appointment to check the heater in November. I feel very confident that the recurring A/C problems we have had for several years are a thing of the past.

This was the first time I made an appointment with them to fix my water heater. They gave me a time of between 12 and 5 on Saturday. When I called on the day at 11:00 to check they are coming, they advised me that somehow they forgot to make the appointment (they located the original communication to make the appointment). They are "trying" to get someone to me! Pretty awful for the first (and probably last) experience.

Feel like I overpaid to have the sewer line clog removed since it ultimately did not solve the problem. Tech should have run the hotspot device to find the real clog before running snake and charging for it. Service tech gave incorrect information on city which I was told in follow up would clean an outside cleanout. Tech should not have opined on what city would or would not do. This was a very average performance.

Hottest day of the year, ( 107) and my AC decided to go out! Called Village Plumbing and within one hour Tony had it up and cooling again. I was also pleased with the price, $236.00 for the service call and to replace the capacitor… I was skeptical about what it was actually going to cost; in the past Village Plumbing has run pretty high, however this call was a great success start to finish. Thank you Tony!
