There seems to be a common issue here...communication. We all are in a very hard position as we have property damage and bodily injury when we contact these kinds of law firms. The most important quality I believe that a law firm should have is communication and clarity, unfortunately, this organization has neither. It all started with the initial appointment to review my case of a company vehicle hitting my vehicle, severely damaging the vehicle, and not to mention a pretty severe neck injury. Our initial appointment was rescheduled 3 times and almost 4 until I made it a point to the person on the phone that I would move on and find another attorney. When the day came to review my case there were a lot of promises and "warm and fuzzies" that my husband and I received from the attorney. They ensured and even promised that they would get started on having a claims adjuster come to assess the damage to the vehicle within the week as it will be needed to get back and forth to appointments (currently have to use my husbands vehicle and he has to uber everywhere). They also stated that a case manager would be in contact within the next day. We are now sitting at week 2 and have had no contact. We have not even received an update from the attorney, legal aid, or the case manager. I have called on several occasions and no one seems to have answers to the questions that I need especially when it comes to having an adjuster come out to view and assess the damages to the vehicle. I even had an agreed conference call with my attorney and the legal aid. With all of the things that are going on in my life at the moment, my time is extremely valuable. Our scheduled conference call was for 3:50 p.m. I patiently waited until 4:30, with no call. After setting aside 40 minutes for our call I had to return to other tasks. At that time I sent an email to the legal aid and the attorney stating that I will be terminating there services and no sooner then literally 1 minute later I received a response stating that they were on an extended phone call and could not get on with me until that call was done. I do know that there can be extenuating circumstances that may delay plans, however if it is properly communicated there would be no issue. I have to take time from my day to press my issues with my attorney and his staff where they had promised me that they would handle "everything" and for me not to worry. I was always skeptical of "ambulance chasers" and this just firms my skepticism. Please do your research and interview your attorney before hiring one. We will be taking our case to another firm.

I hired Bachus and Schanker in Dec. 2013. I was involved in a car accident, I was a passenger,both parties in the accident had the same insurance company, so I knew that was not a good thing. The next day I call Bachus and Schanker, they sent an attorney (not a paralegal) out that Saturday to help me with my case. I was injured and would not have been able to make it to them. They got me the medical care I needed, as I did not have health insurance, yet they got me hooked up with Injury Finance,and got that working. While we are now in the stage of going to trial. I am happy I have this top law firm. They let me get well while they handle the legal issues. I have a great feeling that things will work out with them. I know they will go to trial, as once I did a mock jury for them. They do what it takes to get a great out come for their clients. I have experience with other law firms, and out comes were anything but good. If you want a law firm that really cares about its clients and goes out of their way to make that happen, if you want a law firm that treats you like a client and not a dollar sign. Check them out. I will up date on the out come.

Dear Mr. Holderness, When I received your firm’s thank you for considering us letter I felt like the air was sucked out of me because it came 15 minutes after I sent your phone rep Emmanuel Casillas my initial and amended claims to the EEOC. I was perturbed that the reason your firm wouldn’t take my case was that my constructive discharge -hostile work environment, age discrimination, sexual harassment, mental disability, and retaliation for using FMLA and complaining about my treatment when I returned from a workman’s comp injury complaint/claim was not within your firm’s focus. I suggest you remove this offered service from your website (ABOUT tab) – kinda false advertising. In any event, I appreciate the opportunity to express my disappointment; not only that you won’t take my case, but that the pool of litigators in this state is in this state. If you could recommend, I’ve been pretty much through the EEOC’s list, an employment litigator, it would be a mitzvah.

We had a short time with this firm as our lawyer Dustin Bergman whom is very thorough worked for 2 firms before and we had kept him as our council. We had Chasity as our paralegal. We had sometimes difficulty getting a hold of them but when we did they were always courteous, professional, empathetic, understanding and most of all helpful. Wonderful people we did not come out getting what we expected but we went the safe route. We settled instead of taking it to trial. W do appreciate all that was done for our case. There was a lot of work and patience required and Dustin did a wonderful job. The whole process was a hurry up and wait. We feel as though part of our claim was overlooked in the settlement. But We got the most that the company would settle for. I do say they could do better at the slow times at helping us to realize we are not forgotten. Great people and okay service but to be expected with the hassle they have to put up with.

I was in a traffic accident in Oct of 2014. The other driver ran a red light, I was injured and my vehicle was totaled. I was referred to a different attorney by a friend. The other attorney was useless and seemed like they did not know what to do and did not care. I called Bachus and Schanker and explained my situation over the phone, the person I spoke with was very professional and set up an appointment with one of their attorneys (Maaren Johnson) that same day. Maaren is amazing!! The other drivers insurance company kept trying to say that the accident was my fault. Maaren had an investigator look into the accident, obtain the 911 recordings and find/speak to witnesses. After obtaining all of the evidence showing that the other driver was at fault, they decided to settle. The settlement would have never happened without the hard work of Maaren and the rest of the team at Bachus and Schanker!

I highly recommend Sara Green and her team, as well as the group at Bachus in general. Though I am not a litigious person, I was in a situation that many people have been in and were likely afraid to speak up or concerned about retaliation. While those fears did cross my mind, Sara and her team made everything clear every step of the way--they were not simply attorneys, they were also friends and advisors. I do not wish my experience that led me to Sara and team upon anyone, but if you do find yourself in a position needing to take legal action, I highly recommend this group. They were even able to have meetings with me when I had no childcare as they have toys and prizes for little ones in the lobby. That meant a great deal to me especially during such a difficult time. I came to Bachus and Schanker after dealing with an attorney by the name of Michael Douglas with the Mark Sawaya law firm. Michael Douglas was so rude and such a negative experience. Anyhow, needless to say Called Bachus & Schaefer and explained my, dealings and how rude & unprofessional this Michael Douglas was treating me. They immediately set me up with a late evening appointment, which was so accommodating. Jason Levy and John Duguay were absolutely amazing from day one and not only that they treated me with dignity, respect, and compassion for my well being. I truly appreciate all they did for me and getting complete policy limits for my car accident case & injuries. I definitely recommend these two attorneys over there at Bachus & Schanker. A1 experience!!!! 5 stars

My best friend Steve asked me to write a review for him since he is busy moving today and he wanted to make sure he was heard. The first part of the process was pretty rough because of lack of communication and Steve had three lawyers before things started moving. B&S please make sure your clients are kept posted along the rocky road to a settlement, they are not lawyers and need to know what is happening. Clients would rather know where they stand than just hearing nothing. But when Lauren Epke and David Krivitz took over his case, everything changed. They answered emails and calls and kept him up to date on what was going on. They were able to settle for the highest possible offer under his circumstances. If he would have had these guys early on, 5 stars.

I would recommend this law firm to anyone who is in need! I went through a traumatic ordeal involving personal injury and when bills started to pile up we sought out representation and found this firm. They dealt with all the messy negotiations and everything that needed to be done behind the scenes, leaving me and my family stress free. After all was said and done I was extremely satisfied with the settlement I received and the way my case was handled by Lauren and David, they kept personal contact with me and my family and made us feel comfortable and confident in our case and was able to change all our lives in the end with the work they did. I cannot recommend this firm enough, if you are in need of representation I highly recommend Bachus & Schanker.

I was attacked by a dog in 2011. Bachus and Schanker went to great lengths to find the owner. After several years the owner was located. An attorney of theirs, Brian Bradford, stayed on top of the case and when my settlement was awarded, most of it went to fees and medical bills. Brian reduced his fee so I would have more money in my pocket. If you are going to use B&S, get Brian Bradford. I gave B&S 3 stars because that was one attorney. On the whole, I did not know the status of my case, and thought it had gone nowhere until receiving a communication that they had found the owner. Greatly disappointed by that, as well as being shuffled to different attorneys with the firm. If something happened to me again, I would recommend Brian Bradford.

I am sorry to report that any positive review about this injury law firm is very misleading. I have witnessed operations from this company having complete deficit of competence from the professional side and have witnessed their lack of attention to their clients, victims of auto accidents, and, from the position of a care provider. They simply cannot support their claims of which they advertise HEAVILY, and they prove disloyalty and breech of agreement with anyone unfortunate enough to become bound by contract to them. If I ever get the opportunity to witness otherwise with anyone else I have serviced who received a different result, I will return to this site and immediately delete this gut-honest review. I used this firm for an employment lawsuit and was assigned Ms. Green who is an employment attorney. She was amazing! Always returned my emails and phone calls quickly (I live 2 hours away so we relied on email and phone calls) and was very sympathetic to my case. She explained the process as we went along and always stayed in constant communication with me even if it was just to say she had no new updates (even on weekends!). It took a little over a year but she warned me the process was lengthy, we settled out of court. My settlement was small (but fair), probably much smaller than this firm is used too, but I never felt unimportant. I would highly recommend Ms. Green for anyone needing an employment attorney!
