After speaking with Ms. Koch on a previous occasion regarding my circumstances, she asked that I come in for a consultation. At our first meeting she seemed very positive, however when I came in for the consultation she listened to me again and briefly looked at my documents. At that time, she stated that she would not be able to take the case because the case was out of state--a fact that she already knew. She then proceeded to ask for the $200 consultation fee, which would have been free if I had been able to hire her. She gave me a list of lawyers from the wrong state (while on the phone with other clients). She then gave me a list from the correct state that included only one attorney from the correct city. A quick google search, on my part, found 15 attorneys in the correct city. I feel that she misrepresented her abilities in order to make a few bucks. I will not recommend her services to anyone.

I had a child custody case and was in dire need of a lawyer I asked a couple of friends and the first lawyer they told me was Koch. So I looked her up on the web I started reading reviews and I decided to give her office a call they made accommodations to my schedule and saw me very quickly. As soon as I met with Kelly she reassured me that I had a great case and she actually got goosebumps that it was so good. With her reassurance I decided to hire her as my representation. The process took about six months but herself and her staff kept me notified about every procedure and notification that I needed. When it came to our time in court Kelly fought hard for me and I think she got to know me more on a personal level than just a client, I received everything that I wanted and more thanks to her hard work and knowledge of the law. I will recomend her to anyone that has a family law issue

Ms. Koch is amazing and is well versed in the process of divorce. Her staff is knowledgeable and kept me apprised of any information or changes. Ms. Koch guided me through the pratfalls that many undergo in mediation, and helped me understand the value of a fair settlement. She fought for me and made me feel important. She could have agreed to all of my whims and fancies but she provided a valid counter that helped me understand what I should be providing/receiving. Ms. Koch can be blunt, but it was to let me know what was important. I believe that if I would have gone with a different lawyer that my overall outcome would have been detrimental to my children, my finances, and myself.
