Stay away from their Home Mortgage Department. The Credit Union hired the worse appraiser (Shawn Blackmon) I have ever seen. Lazy and used the Brazos Co Appraisal District numbers exactly. If they really want to get in the home mortgage business - maybe they should hire quality appraisers. They took my $500 and I got a 10 minute appraisal on a house that sits on 3/4 acre and has over 4500 sq ft. It is sad work ethic has come to this.
