It is 2013 and I am debt free. I have been for the past two years. I joined CCS when I realized I was making my credit card payments, but knew it was going to take a long time to pay them off , based on the min payments. I met up with CCS, within one week of setting everything up. My creditors all worked with the program. What would have taken me 13 years to pay off based on min payments, took me a little over 2 1/2 years. I never got any calls at home or letters telling me that I owe. I slept well and once a month made my payments. After 6 months I started to see results. I didnt encounter any problems with the program. As long as you can realize you need to do this and with CCS. Others I know went to another credit card type business.They pay much more in service fees and get phone calls. I told them who to go to. CCS of Buffalo. I pay for all my goods with cash and have peace of mind. Happy New Year to all that join in and its a start to a new lifestyle, its called Debtfree!! Thank You

CCCS has been a great help to our family. We apprehensively made our first appointment with CCCS when we were drowning in debt. I can remember walking in ashamed that we had gotten ourselves in this position. Noelle put me at ease and guided me through the process. They worked with our creditors to come up with a plan to rebuild our credit.We just made our last payment. What a great feeling of accomplishment! Recently, Lisa helped me navigate the student loan consolidation process. CCCS is one of the best community agencies that I have ever been associated with.

Lisa F. was enormously helpful regarding my student loans. We discussed repayment options in detail and she took the time to call two servicers while I was in the office which served to both clarify some concepts of which I was unsure and to get the ball rolling regarding a new payment plan. If you are having issues with your student loans I would highly advise getting yourself to CCCSBUFFALO as soon as you can. They are a wonderful resource. We also used Sonya for a separate family debt/budgeting meeting and it was equally fruitful.

I would recommend the CCCS not only to the persons who experience financial difficulties but to everyone else who would like to educate themselves on how to better manage their budgets (big and small!) and understand the responsibilities that come with being a mortgage or credit card holder. Having attended one of the workshops offered by CCCS recently, I appreciate how knowledgeable...and approachable the staff was. (Special thanks to the Community Outreach Manager Robby Dunn!)

I would highly recommend reaching out to this organization if you are looking for supplemental financial literacy sources. CCCS partnered up with our college and provided our students informational sessions on topics like budgeting and managing school loans. Our students found the information to be very useful and as a partner, we felt the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

I absolutely recommend CCCS. The staff is wonderful, incredibly helpful and genuine. I left my appointment feeling much more empowered. If you are worried about your finances, have questions about your student loans - whatever - do not hesitate to call and make an appointment. It is worth it!
